@Riot champion mastery BE prices
Will there be any changes for how much it costs to upgrade mastery? BE is difficult to come by and I wonder if I should wait before wasting 3900BE on something I was supposed to earn by skillful play.

They acknowledged how bad it feels, but they haven't announced any plans to change it.

We need people to upvote this! I do feel the costs to upgrade is slightly outrageous.
It doesn't really cost more than it used to. It's just that in the old system you didn't see the up-front IP cost because it was broken down into smaller increments of 1700 for champ shards. And the seemingly decreased rate of BE gain mixed with seeing the actual price up-front makes it feel more intimidating.
iirc, in the old system it took 3-4 champ shards to unlock mastery 6. 1700 x 3 = 5100 ip. 1700 x 4 = 6800 ip. While it's true you could get Champion shards through the free chests before, I almost never did.
