So how safe a pick is janna?
looking to add another support to my champ pool, and I hear shes one of the top tier supports, and incredibly difficult to misplay.
also any good ADC synergies?

Don't play her. you will not become a good player. When she gets nerfed or reworked you will demote from diamond 4 to bronze 2
but why? and how so?
dude u want to hear some of the bronze ass things janna players have said to me in low diamond games? save ur ears. all them fucking champ boosted idiots waiting to get carried. Honestly even hate them on my own team. idc if its strong. It's brain dead aids and i highly recommend riot full vgu that horseshit disgrace of a champion/dirty tampon
for just $4.95 a minute she leaves you breathless tho.
but to actually respond to this, isn't that just the same as soraka? I mean, all you do is press r, and BAM teamfight won
i love playing against Jannas, you can really win lane hard early
I think Janna synergizes basically with every ADC which makes her such a viable pick. Her strength is to counter engage heavy teams but she does also well against passive ones. Janna is never a bd choice, which is why many players pick her up.
Janna is a support for autofilled players
She's incredibly easy, but does not offer anything when mastered, a bad janna or a good janna do essentially the same thing
on the opposite, some supports are incredibly overpowered when mastered and surpasses Janna in anything she does except giving AD
so I'm better off just learning a better support then?
Yes
Mastering Tahm kench Taric and braum is a ticket to challenger
Play janna if you want to quickly know how to play a support

Don't forget
Really high level 2/3 burst and cc locks you to infinity. He also can tank 10 turret shots at level 6.
I tried, and bombed hard. You cant milk alistar, but you can sure milk first blood from the player ;_;
Janna's speciality is because pure unadulterated peel.
Her best synergies are hyper carries such as Jinx, Kog and Twitch. But also other AD champions with high bonus AD ratios.
She's a fun but rather non-interactive champ with some
skins, so I think she's always a good benchmark support to learn.
A lot of her skills are transferable to other enchanter supports as well, without the frustrating learning curve.
Idk why she is so popular even in low elo, but ppl there definitely can't properly play her. Just pick engage champion like
and destroy her lane.
also works pretty well, as long as you hit stuns.
Maybe it wouldn't work so easily in higher elo, as people better at dodging and reacting, but so far I am always glad to have
against me.
Janna hard counters stuff like Nasus, Volibear, Garen, Udyr, etc. She can just kite them to oblivion with slows and knock-ups. Her laning isn't good just basically play defensive and try to keep you and your ADC alive.
If you want to carry from support you are better off playing Alistar who can engage fights and tower dive or Brand who can deal crap loads of AoE damage in teamfights. Taric is really fun too but more team dependent, his ult is insanely strong when used right though.
Im only learning janna right now because i need a third support champ (i was put in a situation where lulu was banned, and someone took nami from me)
Then i checked op.gg and saw she was the current #1 winrate support, so i figured i may as well collect some freelo while i learn a new champ.
idk why you people at as if janna is braindead
her skill floor is low but her skill ceiling is as high as any other support if not more
I think when they refer to her as braindead they mean low mechanical ceiling
