Can preseason come with a "soft" MMR reset?

Basically what I mean is, can we play our first game starting in our current elo, but have our MMR gains be the same as a fresh lv 30 account?

For example, a placement series that looks like this: Game 1: Silver 2 MMR, win Game 2: Silver 1 MMR, win Game 3: Gold 5 MMR, win Game 4: Gold 4/5 MMR, win Game 5: Gold 4 MMR, win Game 6: Gold 3 MMR, win Game 7: Gold 2 MMR, win Game 8: Gold 1 MMR, win Game 9: Plat 5 MMR, win Game 10: Plat 4 MMR, win

Should result in a post-placement rank of Gold 1 / Plat V

The way I understand that it works right now is: Game 1: Silver 3 MMR, win Game 2: Silver 3 MMR, win Game 3: Silver 3 MMR, win Game 4: Silver 2 MMR, win Game 5: Silver 2 MMR, win Game 6: Silver 2 MMR, win Game 7: Silver 2 MMR, win Game 8: Silver 2 MMR, win Game 9: Silver 1 MMR, win Game 10: Silver 1 MMR, win

Results in a placement of Bronze 2.

heck, i'd prefer a HARD MMR restart. Alongside "transfer to different server", and "rename character", I'd like a "full reset of MM" paid option.
