Am I the only one who realize how those new champs are gonna be a failure?
While every bot lane mains, support and ADCs are all going "omg dis is so cuote we finelly get an actooal sooport and marksmin and they are purfect duo <333", I'm wondering if those kinds of releases are healthy for the game? You know, the whole community is complaining about the game getting more and more limited and repetitive, and here comes Riot with new champs that are supposed, in 90% of the games, to be played together. They are litterally FORCING us to pick them both at a time. Ok, say you don't care and everything so even if you don't understand those real problems that are getting the game worse every patches, there's a lot more problems to that release:
NERFS Yeah, we litterally boost two champs' kit when they are together and give no bonus at all if they are not. So option 1: base kit is broken enought to be a decent new champ (because, you know, balanced releases are just legends) and the boosted effects get nerfed hard so the whole champ idea is scrapped. Option 2: the base champ is struggling hard without it's counterpart, and is kinda good only in it's predestined duo, then Killing the whole possibilities in the champ
It's a double edged release, but everyone closes their eyes to all those flaws? I only named one problem and the champ is probably doomed just from that, imagine with the post-PBE release when we are going the see the same botlane over and over. It's not even a normal release when we would see a single champ in every games for weeks, not even a double release that we'll see either one champ or the other quite often, it's a damn WHOLE FORCED DUO release, AN ENTIRE LANE is going to look the same for over a month! On top of that, we are talking about botlane which is not the healthiest part of the Rift by far...
So I'm done complaining... just after that:
Please stop with those damn passively regenerating shields
