Riot...ranked is not as good a system as teambuilder but only place for achievements? Why?

I am amazed how stupid ranked play is in this game. Drudged through enough, dc's, feeders, poor team comps to know it is a zero sum game. What will you do riot when people realize they have more fun playing teambuider but there is no advancement or achievement in that? I have been playing league for last two seasons. Hands down, teambuilder is my favorite type of game. I am happy because I can see the comp I am in or even organize it. People are happy because they can play what they want. What is missing? No achievement besides win and loss ratio. I am thinking this is good reason to get bored with league. Riot doesn't respect part of the game I like enough to give it progression or achievements. Why not expand options and give a ranked version of teambuilder riot?
