Which Riot Republican Was Singing Praises of 99% Zilean Slow?

Played a few Zilean games now and like to go all Rachel Maddow on Chris Whatever HIs Name Is...Pfuffy or something? This guy proudly talks up the 99 percent slow zilean has but forgets to mention that now Zilean's slow is for 2.5 seconds instead of close to 5 seconds. Correspondingly, Zilean's speed boost is now 2.5 seconds instead of close to 5 seconds. You selling some garbage Boehner Pfuffy. Looks to me like you have taken away Zilean's mobility in a big way...I don't feel he gets the space in 2.5 seconds he got in 5.5 or whatever old was. Also, no doubt you have taken away big part of Zilean's damage on demand. Double up bombs are hard to hit...certainly hard to hit from the periphery where you can live somewhat safely and still contribute as Zilean. I would like an answer from our Republican friend on what part of Zilean is still good? And please remember sir you cannot answer mobility or damage because neither of these gonna pass audit. Insult to injury as I understand it is now with double up bombs hard to hit they actually gonna hit quite a bit less hard also due to overall nerf on damage and ap scaling. I think you have busted up one of my favorite champs here. Think he will talk about the stun...this Pfuffy guy? The stun you gotta spend like 3 seconds out in the open to hope you land correctly TWICE so the big meanies don't come and kill ya? You lost a goodwill point with me on this one. Hope you lose your seat in Congress next go around. Too many Republicans in there now anyway.

P. S. Not playing him anymore. Not fun. Make him hit harder and I will look again. Fun of Zilean was mobility and surpising damage late game/harass early game. I understand changing the early harass some but you have taken away too much in process.

Riot takes away power based on the context of potential (unless you are some specific sons of Riot Balance), what's new?

The slow is pretty much what irritates me, as I can still somewhat understand the other changes. If you wanted to nerf E, flat out say so. 99% slow for 2.5 seconds is worse than 55% slow for 5.5 seconds.

You exactly right on the slow. He just does not get around at all like he used to. Cannot stick and move. Just like those poor top 1 percent. They can't afford to pay more taxes either. They only have 50 percent of the world's wealth...riot Republicans I tell ya. Lies and deceit. Gonna report Boehner Pfuffy to Rachel Maddow. She will bust him up for putting red paint on the Zilean rotten tomato.

You are so wrong it hurts. Okay lets look at the slow. First off, his old slow was a 55% slow or speed buff. Thats not all that much. His new E is a 99% speed up or slow which is a fuck ton. Now lets look at his Q. His bombs now offer way more variety to their use. Not only can they be used as poke but now they allow you to create a zone of control wherever you want.

Trying to take dragon and the enemy team is attempting to collapse? Throw down two bombs and block off their entry ways into the river. You getting ganked by the enemy jungler? Toss two bombs behind you and force the jungler to either walk through them and get insta stunned or back off. Also his bombs are extremely easy to use because you now have a fucking 99% slow. Meaning they literally cant move. On top of that his E also has like a 6 second cooldown at max level.

Also if you take into account his W which at max level only has a 5 second cooldown you can do some extremely nasty things.

Now lets look at what the new Zilean can do to the enemy adc.

E them for the slow. Q them for the first bomb while they cant really move. W for the cooldown reduction Q them again for the mass AOE Stun which lasts 1.5 seconds. As soon as it the stun wears off E them again. Already your W is pretty much off cooldown so just use it again. Repeat.

You are now able to apply constant cc and make it to where their adc can effectively not move or do anything. And this is extremely spammable. Now if you take into account all the damage your adc is doing to them while they are being cc'd for years and add that with the fact that every time you double bomb them it aoe stuns them and the minions and their support. Thats pretty much a dead lane.

Zilean is a nightmare now. His E's movement speed gives him near max movement speed. With boots of mobility you have somewhere close to 775 movement speed which is max. Meaning you cover far more ground far more quickly. Give that to your Maokai or jungler when they come in for a gank and then W and E the adc and thats a guaranteed dead or flashless adc.
