Maokai was selected for being too much of a generalist who is top tier compared to other tanks whenever they are meta. Yet Nautilus is always either tie, second, or better for almost all the same reasons. Is he going to get a change as well but on a smaller scale to make him more niche to give other tanks a reason to be picked over him as well?

he can be kindof scary but for the most part he isn't bad for the franchise/brand/whatever you want to call it

junglerboy161 votesNautilus actually does have a strong niche as the best hybrid of engage and peel, mainly because of how much CC he has. He doesn't offer his team any direct survivability, just 4 CCs, his own durability, and whatever damage he puts out over the course of a fight.
