Riot needs to nerf mages with no compensation buffs

With all the rylais talk, stop trying to get some compensation buffs for your champions being nerfed. Mages have been strong for way too damn long and its about time the mage radicalist groups get silenced with some item nerfs. You dont deserve to be tanky and dealing insane amounts of damage. You're lucky to even have CDR on most of your items.

Ahem. AD main at it's finest. Excuse me sir, but "mages have been strong for way too damn long" is incorrect. They haven't been extremely oppressive since last season. "Dealing insane amounts of damage" is also wrong, as Riot nerfed our numbers extremely bad throughout the past two major class updates (marksmen and mage), therefore since Riot also added more health and utility to those items as compensation for the damage nerfs, then of course thats why MAGES ARE MORE HEFTY RIGHT NOW. And that's why we are asking for compensation back if they change Rylai's or anything else. Duh.

I don't know if you are just a biased AD main or a kid who got his buttkicked by a Rylai slowing mage, but really bro, learn to think before you spit out wrong facts and accusations.

Builds item 3030 item 3152 item 3116

Fails to burst down the Soraka support that has item 2049 as only tanky item

Mages build tanky? Then they can't burst people down. Even if they have some health they only have armor and magic resist from their base stats which still lets assassins burst them down, and they won't be able to win 1v1 vs. any tank/bruiser without kiting. Also most of the tanky items don't have useful passives for most mages. item 3030 item 3152 Is only that good on a select few mages. Basically lategame, you can't burst down squishies because tank AP items don't give that much AP, and you'll still not have enough health to actually take hits.

Not that much damage + Still squishy with like 0 extra armor =

Useless against teams that actually know what they are doing and aren't the type of people that give the enemy Amumu a 5 man ulti every time it's off cooldown.

GLP-800 and protobelt share an item cooldown <.<

If you fail to kill a Soraka that only has that built, you really suck at the game. She's squishy as hell already, so with sightstone that only gives her 150 extra health, plus her CC is very unreliable. She should've been dead in seconds.

Git gud, bud.

"You dont deserve to be tanky and dealing insane amounts of damage"

This is true, unless you're a Juggernaut. Damage should be a given though, Mages are categorized by having a combination of high damage and or CC. All of that said, to say anything should be flat out bad or unviable is well, quite frankly stupid since its literally promoting bad game design, Mages should be just as viable as any other group, without tipping over the scales.

Basically; Yes, rylais needs to be hit as its simply too good in its current state, preferably by turning it into a more tank focused AP item; that however doesn't mean mages should just get the short end of the stick with no replacement item to compensate them (for instance, theres been plenty of discussion about adjusting the Black Market Brawlers items Pox Arcana and Netherstride Grimore for SR).

skill shots vs right click.

i want you to do a self experiment. in the next 20 games, compare your mage to your adc's "damage dealt to champions" stat, tell me which one is higher on average.

im sorry you play easily kited no mobility tank, so sorry. but please try to understand what a counterpick is, everyone deals with it. same with counterbuilding.

Dont call big AOE abilities with broken hitboxes skillshots. Especially with rylais slowing everything for you so you can spam abilities and now have to worry about missing. Damage wise? ADC and mages should be the same.

and you'll often find the adc reliably has more damage dealt to champs.

in addition you're talking about wombo combos omg he hit all of us, the value!

in those situations the mage deals the same as an adc does, only the adc doesn't get the chance to apply his damage because the mage did it first and the adc gets clean up duty.

but on average over the course of the majority of fights, they deal about the same because they are balanced around the fact that a mage has poke range and kite potential but the adc has hard higher dps output but utilizes it much less often, but is better suited to objective taking like baron.

"Mages have been strong for to long"

Really? Besides for SyndraCassiopeia and maybe Kennen Rumble there wasn't to many mages that is having people crying like crazy on the forums..Unlike Graves Jayce Jhin LeeSin Lucian Riven Vayne Yasuo Zed

Also about your** "Your lucky to even have CDR on most of your items"** Let's look at all the items that give AD and CDR item 3812 item 1400 item 3508 item 3071 item 3078 item 3142 And you can add item 3025 since AD champions build it. A lot of these give 20% CDR and Essence can give up to 30% with enough crit. While the only 3 AP items that give 20% CDR is item 3115 item 3174 item 3165 which Nashor's is only good on a select few mages, Athenes is only for supports who can Shield/Heal which only leaves Morello as the only real 20% CDR option for normal mages....So honestly, CDR is about as easy to get if not easier on AD champions.
