So I took a few days off LOL.....

And I thought I'd miss it. I didn't. And this is from a guy that played at least a game daily 6 years+

First game back: I'm Mundo top. Poppy's under my tower 10 minutes abusing aftershock...my bot lane is feeding their ass off my jungler is MIA.

I bait Poppy and kill her. I return to lane Kayn ganks me but I somehow kill him and Poppy escapes.

13 minutes passed and my jungler didn't come top once. I roam bottom change their loss, xayah starts getting fed.

I take two inhibitors, we take baron......my jungler goes back to her jungle to farm with the baron buff....yes, with the fucking baron buff!!!!

We win. 0 jungler influence.

Second game:

I play Grasp Garen. Haven't played in a while wanted to chill. My jungler (ekko) is clearly a smurf I handle top ok by myself he completely dominates the map all 3 lanes including the enemy jungle. We win.

So one game I have to carry literal r%%%%%s....the next game I could afk and win with my eyes closed.

I felt like I wasted two hours of my life. What a fucking joke. Where's the skill in this? There are clearly huge imbalances in matchmaking and MMR assignment and calculations.

I don't play top lane at all, but I was under the impression that top laners are mostly left alone during laning phase, without much jungle influence. Isn't that why tanks and bruisers go there? Because they can survive solo? Feel free to educate me if i'm wrong!

I mean, sure, a jungler would have to be stupid to not gank top when a good opportunity arises. But as far as I knew, a gank top was seen as a privilege to get, not something to complain about if you don't end up getting one. But like I said, I don't know shit about top lane. I'm a bronze support main, during my laning phase I'm usually too focused on keeping a suicidal adc alive to worry about what's happening on the side of the map I can't really influence.

I wouldn't call it a privilege really, it's more up to the jungler's determining on an optimal time in which to do so. Usually when the enemy has overextended and pushed their minion wave too close to the allied tower of any of the lanes, and they know that the fight would be a definite win. Of course, in Bronze it's more hit or miss as jg's in that elo tend to uhh... not really have a firm grasp of gank timing for the most part.

Yet we never/rarely see lanes abused and pushed hard in high elo.

Why?

Because a high elo jungler will gank a pushed lane. That's why annoys me most of all about low/mid elo the jungler literally makes the difference. It shouldn't be this way there shouldn't be a random factor about a junglers skill at and above a certain elo.

The same could be said of any role. Is it fair if I lose because my top doesn't know how to trade into Fiora and ends up feeding her grossly before the 15-minute mark? Is it fair if I lose because my bot duo doesn't synergize well or know how to properly scout for and/or place wards? There are many factors that go into winning a game, it isn't just the jg.
