How it feels to play new soraka...

Well, I no longer have a ratio that goes off of mana, so good bye to being able to do damage. Oh well that's not so bad. Hmm, I don't gain armor from my W anymore, sure makes me feel pretty squishy... Healing my allies keeps damaging the same amount, I want to build health to stop dying, but I'd still hurt myself just as much, my health doesn't improve my heal at. Tanky allies don't really benefit from me anymore, I kill myself faster than I restore their health. Better not use my Q unless I'm in melee range, the casting speed of that thing is super slow. Why did they bother change its range of effect? Now it's just a smaller AoE that I can miss. Oh, and I don't silence my enemies very long at all unless I can get them to sit still. Half of the enemies just dash right through my silence to my allies anyways, if only my spells weren't so tiny and immobile.

though after you get over how much she's changed and build her differently, she's really great in a pinch, like when an allies over extended and running away with almost no health ignited, you can actually heal through the burn. Soraka will no longer be the tank sustain healer like taric, but as a squishy mage healer she's a lot more meaningful.
