Can you fix whatever optimization you did to SR in 4.21?

Every since this patch, no matter how low my settings are, the fps just plummets in every team fight. Ping isn't the problem here, that stays steady,

same. My ping is even 3-4 LOWER then it was before 4.21, my fps is just complete shit though.

Yeah I actually even upgraded my computer recently and I still get random FPS drops, random spikes of what seems like hiccups where everything will...not sure how else to word it but visual "blinks" where thinns kind of freeze up, etc. It never happened before, I've had the comp for a bit, but it is most certainly not me.

Really really not digging all the issues that have arose with the preseason everything (including the jungle "diversity" pushing just about everyone out of any chance of really jungling outside a select tier, but...another rant for another time).

Fix this stuff Riot. My internet is great, my computer is great...this FPS dropping is not.

I literally can't play adc or assassins or anything that I love to do in league because a fight breaks out and I lose control of my character.

Do you guys have macs? This is happening to me as well and i thought it was a mac problem. When fights start, when I'm about to die, or even when fighting minions in the jungle my comp freezes/hiccups and i have to wait for league to catch back up. Im too afraid to play ranked right now because of this. I dont DC, league is just literally freezing on me the whole game….

i have heard A LOT of people complaining about this. No problem for me though. I'm running 50 MBPS download, with 58 ping. Using a Dell. (if this helps).

It was the Frosted UI, Riot reverted to the Original UI, so your FPS should be back to normal.

Make sure you have Vsync turned off. If you run with your frame rate "uncapped" pick one of the capped rates and use it. So if on uncapped your frame rate is normally ~250 then cap it at 120 or 144 and you're less likely to bug out at the beginning of games or in team fights. Or if your normal is like ~50 fps then cap yourself at 30. Sometimes the request for as many frames as possible puts more stress on the game and your system than requesting a specific number.

I have lower fps in LoL than I do in Dota 2. That should not happen xD

ohh well new pc for christmas

This may sound strange, but some PCs actually perform worse if you lower your graphics to abysmal levels. Mine has been that way since I got it 4-5 years ago and I have always found Medium graphic settings to have the best results. It may not be the same issue you're facing, but I thought I'd just throw it out there.

Also, make sure shadows are decreased and that you don't have anti-aliasing along with character inking checked. All of those are known to change performance in any video game.

my FPS is always at a constant 120-130 so i'd say hop into a custom with either a bunch of friends or a bunch of bots and try tinkering with the settings until your FPS retains whatever it is no matter what's going on

personally my FPS was around 60-70 and would drop to around 40-ish until i actually bumped UP my settings. which i actually just had my Nvidia GeForce optimize it for me so i assume that having it below optimal levels can actually hurt your FPS as well? idk sounds odd tho, but yeah just trying messing with your settings for a bit until you get better FPS. make sure you have anti-aliasing off also as most video cards have issues with it in many games

I don't get where people are having problems and blaming Riot for it.

I use an intel integrated, and I am at a steady 100-120fps on medium settings.

Got all these other people with better hardware complaining about low framerate.

Maybe just maybe, it IS your computer?

I had a miracle happen in patch 4.20. I had a consistent ping of 84 down from my normal 96. It was a glorious occasion and made me feel like a brand new player... that all changed when Patch 4.21 attacked, nothing was the same again ;.;
