Tryndamere "Sorry everybody, we need everyone working and skins and events for this year's harrowing instead of maintaining worlds."

Ezreal "But Riot, won't you be ruining a beloved world wide event and alienating millions of your fans?"

Teemo "Omg, greedy Rito only cares about $$$ off of holiday skins."

Swain "I know, why don't you just delay the harrowing so that you can still do world's and still release good content for your players?"

Tryndamere "NO, HARROWING HAS TO HAPPEN ON HALLOWEEN, NO EXCEPTIONS."

It's called time management.

There's no reason they couldn't have done both.

And the Harrowing never happened. The End.

Tbh I'd take the Harrowing over Worlds.

Either way people will complain. The boards feed and live off complaining, they use it as sustenance to survive.

heres a thought, plan for it

heres another thought! dont put so much time into making a crap patch for worlds https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axPGz_Hf_FA

even monte agree's it was bs but what does he know

doesnt take a genius.....all you have to do with events like this wether it be worlds, holiday events, etc is.....you guess it...

plan for it.....you think everyone goes shopping for christmas gifts on christmas eve?

its not us being greedy, its them not planning correctly....not our fault they procrastinated

but you're right, shame on us for expecting christmas to happen on christmas, shame on us!

Lolz riot can do both and even when they focused on worlds Gragus still had a bug that got him disabled so don't even start that

I don't know if the point of this was to make me reconsider my stance on them prioritizing Worlds over The Harrowing, but I am totally okay with what you're depicting.

I mean, it isn't like they couldn't postpone worlds for a couple days or so that the Harrowing could be handled on Halloween (after all, worlds can happen at literally any time, it isn't like it is on a rigid schedule like Halloween is). That, or if postponing the Harrowing was the only option, then they could have been far more open about it instead of having an obscure post that is buried somewhere in the boards (or was it reddit? Meh.)

It should have been something on the front page announcing that they would indeed still have the harrowing, but that they would be doing it a bit later.

Personally to me, as another post said, its called being time efficient. As a professional company, they should have been able to juggle Worlds and Harrowing at the same time.

That being said though. As long as it is semi near Halloween, thats all that matters as far as I am concerned at least. And I mean as in like as long as its before Thanksgiving. If they wait any longer, then they are being lazy.
