Bruiser & Tank Itemization Rework | Suggestion Thread

Going to keep this really short & concise.

The classes lack itemization. Their items are bland. We complained about mage itemization and got them items.

AD champs have a lot of itemization but these classes themselves do not have that much available to them. The items suggested are aimed to also be viable in other roles like support without being oppressive.

The classes need tenacity with so much CC creep and mobility creep in the game. They also need to deal with knockups - the only form of CC that does not have a counter other than abstinence or dodging. It's abundant.

Tenacity should be an active I believe. Passively, the amount of tenacity in the game is good. If it should be introduced passively, it should hold high prices and no damage - only resistances.

Let's begin.

Item 1 | Leviathan Blade

  • 30 AD
  • Passive: Knockups last longer the more resistance you have. After hitting 300 armor or magic resist, knockups only last 0.25 seconds.
  • 2300 gold

Item 2 | Knight's Vow

  • Gain 10%(+0.1 * armor) tenacity when moving + old active

Item 3 | Zaunian Shackles

  • 60 Magic Resist
  • Passive: Gain tenacity equivalent to the amount of [(ArmorRatio)+(MRRatio)]/(DecimalRatio*[(Total AP)+(Total AD)])
  • 3600 gold

Item 4 | Z-Drive Core

  • 30 Armor
  • 30 MR
  • Active: For 2 seconds, if you or an ally would be hit by an ability, crowd control effects will be ignored but you will take the combined damage three seconds after.

Item 5 | Ohmwrecker

  • Active: Replate a tower of your choice. The plating will decay over time. A tower that is currently plated cannot be replated.

Item 6 | Spirit Shield

  • 60 Magic Resist
  • Every time you are hit with an ability, apply Grievous Wounds for 5 seconds on the attacker.
  • Active: Remove all effects on you but your basic abilities are put on cooldown.
  • 2800 gold

Item 7 | Demacian Rapier

  • 40 AD
  • 400 Health
  • After 10 stacks on an enemy, you will phase through enemy units and your attacks will deal damage proportional to your bonus health (ratio).
  • 2800 gold

The first and fifth items are a bit iffy to me but everything else seems pretty fine. I like the idea of a stacking resistance item like seekers armguard is cool but having your own knock-ups last longer based on your resistances makes champs like rivenRiven or aatroxAatrox a lot more unfun. Ohmwrecker feels like it would just slow the game down. Hopefully, this post is seen by more toplaners and riot them selfs*[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]*
