For all of you guys saying that Ryze deserves all of these nerfs.

Lets talk about this. This game just completed an hour ago.

Look at that damage, from the pro scene over in KR.

These are before the indirect nerfs to Ryze with the minion aggro changes. This is before the Zhonya's Ulti interaction removal.

HE LITERALLY HAS 0 IMPACT FOR DAMAGE. Think about that. 8k damage in a 53 minute game. That is some bronze level damage if I have ever seen it. Bronze because that player is literally doing nothing and maybe clicking some skills sometime. Coming from a mid laner.

19k in a 63 minute game. Is some gold level mid laner damage in a 30-40 minute game.

So again, remind me why Ryze needs more nerfs? Right because his ULTI is the only reason he gets picked.

Can you guys give us some insight as to why a 44% win rate champion in solo q, 36% win rate at 2017 worlds, and pathetic damage in pro scene. Is getting nerfs. When you can simply remove him from pro play by changing his current ulti. If you need help with this, the WHOLE RYZE MAINS DISCORD AND SUBREDDIT is waiting for you to come ask us!

Since we know that the playtest team is too busy with other project and are overwhelmed. We don't want someone that doesn't even play the champion like us making changes for us. We aren't here to break our champions. We are here to try to get him into a playable state that won't ruin it for pro scene or solo q scene.

Also it looks like everyone just now after nearly two years learned that tether break the zhonya's ulti combo.

The really disgusting thing is ezreals damage in the game and their damage in general

Why on Earth should a scaling mid laner like ryze who's very hard to play get nerfed when they're pumping out those numbers? It's stupid.

As you say his winrate is trash, and even when he's picked in pro play his winrate doesn't even seem to be that good.

Really sucks for average players like me who enjoy playing him.

Are you saying a champion with a 2 second point and click root, that rushes Tear and is outpushing, outtrading every midlaner isn't broken?

Cause he has his weakness. Late game he gets really weak compared to other champs (Anivia, Cassio, Syndra for example) as he has bad team fights. He is someone that can do many different roles, but never is the best.

Wait, so. You're telling me that Ryze's weakness is out of laning phase...

TBH, his biggest weakness is his build path. Aka the dependency on Tear.

Tear is an item that automatically makes you wait until 20 minutes before you can even be considered ramped up.

On top that, I would have to disagree that his weakness is late game compared to Anivia, Cassio, Syndra. He is one of the strongest Late Game Mages. He is next to Karthus, Anivia, Cassio, Azir. The worse out of them. Here is how I look at it.

The better the champion is at dealing with the other late game mages in lane the worse they are into all of the other match ups.

So. Ryze is the worse, Cassio, Anivia, Azir, Karthus. Ryze can't deal with any of those guys easily in lane. While Karthus can easily do what he wants in lane with maybe the exception of Azir?

But the better they are at dealing with the other late game mages, the easier they are to beat with champions like Syndra, Annie, LB, Orianna, etc. Aka all of the other champions in the game.

Ryze also is extremely difficult to play, but I would go to say he has one of the BEST teamfights in the game. But thats only if you can tap into that hidden potential. That hidden potential is gated by a few things, and those things are.

1: How good the player is. If you're bronze trying to play like teamfight god without know the rules or when to engage. You aren't going to do damage and die.

2: How good the enemy team is. If the enemy team is competent enough to always have someone that is going to stick to with that has CC. Your job just became 10x harder. Its true for all mages btw, not just Ryze. But Remember Ryze has short ranges when compared to other mages.

3: The comp of both teams. Ryze will get a shit ton of success if he is about to walk into a teamfight unchecked. So picking someone like shen and or Zac or Rammus. Will make Ryze so much stronger, but thats true for everyone.

These rules are just amplified because of how Ryze plays. He is high risk low reward.

If you're using your ew combo to extend your root, you're not out trading any other competent mid laner. And if you're not, the root is only 0.75 seconds.

They should remove the CDR from abyssal mask. Ryze is pretty much a mage that soaks a lot of dmg with a lot of ultility.

as a ryze player myself its like if i struggle slight i just build item 3001 item 3158 item 3047 item 3003 item 3135. You pretty much only need item 3003 item 3135 and you can build whatever around it.

The job is pretty much root their frontline away from your carries and root their carries for secured kills.

Edit: If riot nerfs his base skills, they should allready consider reworking him yet again. I like his base skills its a fun minigame.

Riot stop nerfing Ryze. I don’t care if he’s used in the LCS... he’s 43% win rate now.
