I honestly want to know which oppressive champions in the midlane made it okay for Katarina to have 60% healing reduction. I mean the way to beat Katarina is to out sustain her so I don't know why they've changed it this way. she even builds gunblade that gives her insane sustain and on top of that she gets healing reduction?
Stray Kat3 votesAs a midlane main.. The only two champs I EVER face that I worry about their healing would be Sylas and the occasional Vlad. Maybe a Swain a couple times per season.
Kat's GW isn't meant for 1v1 in lane, it's meant to be applied during teamfights in a group of enemies - AKA it's more about countering the ADC with Lifesteal, or the heal support, or the sustain toplane/jungle, than it is in lane. In a 1v1 Kat isn't using her R for GW.

she can get 100% healing reduction on her R if you get a morello though. that's some spicy shit if i'm being honest. if i'm ever last pick mid and enemy team has selected a soraka and some weak cc for my kata, it's over.

Usually its either multiplicative or only the greatest value applies.
NodirjonSattarov1 votesyou're right. if she doesn't have R then she can ignite or use an ability with morello to get 40%. if she does have R then she gets 60%. what I don't understand is that katarina isn't that bad in team fights. sure she can't win in a full out 5v5 but she's an assassin, her team fight should be asinine
