and they did it. my jungler went afk.

let me see who is gonna get punished. the poor kha zix that didn't waste his time is probably gonna get low priority queue. and the int feeders won't be punished.

"we won't get punished you'll see. you will never get the "I got punished" message" they said.

but you know a cpl days ago when my electricity went out i had to wait for 20 minutes before 5 games to get into a match.

your punishment system DOES NOT WORK for int feeders UNLESS they make it to the frontpage of reddit for years

{quoted} "we won't get punished you'll see. you will never get the "I got punished" message" they said.

You only get that message if the game you reported was the last to trigger a punishment afaik, so that doesn't mean much.

but you know a cpl days ago when my electricity went out i had to wait for 20 minutes before 5 games to get into a match.

You also have to leave A LOT of games to get a 20 minute penalty. First it is a warning, then you must show a history of leaving, then you get a 5 minute warning, then you have to leave some more for a 10 minute penalty, then you have to leave even more for a 20 minute penalty.

Great conclusion.

I've personally kept track of people who do toxic things that are extreme. So far, only 1 has been banned, for 2 weeks. The guy who told me to kill myself or he would slit my throat? Still here. Guy who ran down every lane and went afk? Still here. The guy who said he hopes my mother dies? Don't worry, he's still playing. Riot's system fails so hard, and it's why we need tribunal back.

Supreme Senpai691 votes

Same here. It's impossible to keep tabs on EVERY super toxic person, but some just stand out so unbelievably. And yet they're still playin. And they do get banned, we even see that much. Go to the behavior forum and you'll see nonstop QQ about "wah I was wrongfully banned."

It just takes... SOOOOO long....

I just write the name down and check op.gg once a week

alot and be anywhere between 3 in 20 games to 5 in 20 games in my experience.

When people admit in chat to boosting an account, or people spam the N-word in game, and Riot won't tell you for "privacy" reasons if they got punished.

Bang up job riot. The game where you can be super racist, afk whenever you want, and boost, with no repercussions what-so-ever.

SSShutTheDuckUp3 votes

N-word? So I can report them for calling me Noob?

It Hertz When IP4 votes

I believe they're referring to "Nigerian", as the large number of princes there mean they all purchased their accounts with the millions of dollars that they just need your help to move to the US.

macromite3 votes

pretty sure the N-word is niagara falls. riot has always had an intense rivalry with the niagara falls tourism companies, and it shines through when playing their games.

General Esdeath 2 votes

The N-Word is "NINE X REPORT" (9x report for hip kids)

BIackfox3 votes

Exactly. And yet people here still defend riots tribunal saying it works perfectly.

ExhibitD6 votes

Um, riot doesn't use the tribunal anymore. The tribunal was a community thing where selected players would view reports and deem what was worthy of punishment and what wasn't.

Glory ln Death2 votes

"Selected players" meaning anyone with a League account. It wasn't like the PBE where you had to apply.

I don't think... it's been a while... maybe I'm wrong on that...

Anidan2 votes

No, it was anyone with a League account. I did some of those Tribunal cases in my day and there was no special application process.

Oelyk3 votes

Tribunal died in season 4

Calabok2 votes

there is no tribunal, bro.

the butthurt jungle leaving the game will be punished.

General Esdeath 3 votes

That's not fair at all.

So true, Riot pathetic system intentional feed system doesn't work. I only see Twitch user who get recorded feeding get ban because they get posted on reddit where Riot can't use their B.S (Name shaming) excuse to hide this problem. Funny part is shaclone and therainman got ban but chances are you never see these feeders get permanent ban unless you take a video recording of it and post it on reddit hoping it gets so much notice that it makes Riot look bad so they will have to actually get off your lazy ass and get work done.

Caytheles1 votes

Hey, shaclone had his reasons, when his team purposely bans all of his picks just because they know its him, he should have the right to pick a champ hes never played, and expect to be bad at said champ.

i mean they banned the champs he could play.... so...

General Esdeath 3 votes

Actually people trolled him because he ints anyway if you die 2 or 3 times. Fuck Shaclone.

Anidan1 votes

Now who's worse? Shaclone for doing that, or the people who intentionally do it because they knew he'd do that? It's not just Shaclone at fault in that case, and everyone should be punished a result of that. If I know you'll start feeding if I give up around 3-4 kills and purposely die 3-4 times in situations in which we both know I shouldn't be dying just to trigger you, I should damn well be punished as much as you.

Not exculpating Shaclone here, but at that point the problem isn't just him.

Also, the no "Public-Shaming" rule is really stupid. Imagine if we couldn't put a criminal's name in the news because that would be "public shaming." They broke the clearly-outlined rules, we should be able to name them to out them as having broken them so people know about that.

Supreme Senpai691 votes

Well, to answer your question... Shaclone is worse. By far. No contest.

But your point does have merit in that the people who egg him on deserve bans as well.

I understand Caytheles he deserve that ban, anyone who intentional feed deserve to get ban. I think I worded it bad for you but what I ment is that only pro/twitch people who get recorded and posted on twitch will get ban since Riot doesn't want to look bad, other then that Riot doesn't give a crap about other intentional feeders if you don't expose them to show the world how trash Riot game intentional feed system is.

But the inting is theirs. They are just announcing their ownership over the int feeding process.

General Esdeath 2 votes

Remember that guy in Dunkey's video who fed? Still not banned, and it's been a year and a half. Good job Riot. BUT GOD FORBID YOU SHOW THE PERSON'S NAME IN CHAT WHEN THEY SAY "I'M GONNA FEED ON PURPOSE" BECAUSE THAT'S PUBLIC SHAMING!

swordofsun1 votes

Pretty sure this should be on PB&M.

Did you report them? You'd be amazed at the number of people who complain about people getting away with stuff in their games and then admit that they never report people. Report for feeding and then in the comment box write down that they planned on int'ing from the get go so the logs will get a review.

The FeederBuster and LeaverBuster assume bad days/games. They go after a pattern of behavior. This is why actually reporting people is important so the chat logs will get a review if people say they will int.

Chat bans are easy in comparison. All the system has to do is scan for phrases/words and punish accordingly once a report has been submitted.

Also remember there are a number of punishment levels that are invisible to anyone not the person being punished. Like LeaverBuster, the only way someone knows you're on it is if they queue with you or you tell them. You will only be informed of someone getting punished if your report was the last one submitted.

but you know a cpl days ago when my electricity went out i had to wait for 20 minutes before 5 games to get into a match.

But prior to that you got your first warning, then you left some games, then you got your 5 minute wait for 5 games, then you left some more games, then you got the 10 minute wait for 5 games, then you left some more games. You don't get the 20 minutes for 5 games until you've left a lot of games. LeaverBuster assumes accident/emergency/circumstances beyond your control. Electricity going out may have been the capper on this tier of punishment, but you've had a history of leaving prior to this.

1 or 2 times inting isnt punished by the automatic system. neither is 1 or 2 leaves but if you stack it up to 5 or 10 times you get busted sooner or later by the automatic system and receive additional punishment by manual review from a player behaviour specialist.

source: i got punished many times in my gametime since 2010 and all of them were legit punishments , i got away for a long time and thought im free to do and behave how i want to. WRONG.

every int feeder and troll gets punished but it takes time because most reports are simply saltreports out of butthurt when someone played badly so report less for tiny mistakes or bad players to make it easier for riot to find the rotten apples.

I had a game with an Ivern support. Instead of going bot lane where he belonged, he just roamed around the jungle taking my camps and being absolutely useless. This is the kind of thing that tilts people. It makes me want to do the same thing because I feel like ranked is a joke and should be treated as such.

NichtHurz1 votes

Actually, if they've told this in ingame chat they're pretty much fucked. It's hard to get punished if you don't say anything about inting or feeding, but if you do so you just sped up the process by a lot.

KVbqbFsC8e1 votes

They don't ban people for inting because they don't want to risk accidentally banning terrible players. The "just a bad game" excuse goes very far.

I Snipe I1 votes

Unless youre mad that your teams are shit. Then you can get 14-dayd like I just did. When I have to try my ass off literally every game to make plays to win, something's wrong. Some games it's just pure impossible. Riot needs permanent ban intentional feeders and intentional (claimed in chat) afkers immediately, but leave people who are just talking shit alone ffs.

I'm not spending any more money on this game, ever. Except for the other unranked 30 account I bought to play in the meantime... But no more cash for riot. They're going to treat me like shit, I'll do the same to them.

IMO stop giving money to riot until autofill is abandoned and punishments for defending yourself to worthless pricks in chat isn't bannable anymore. I'll probably just find another game. Really starting to understand that this mess of a system isn't worth my time. Talked shit in WOW for years just screwing with people, never got banned or even warned. Trash talk for 10 or so games in league, and you have already gotten a chat ban by half that, and a 14 day at the end.

Reporting for negative attitude and verbal abuse just needs removed lol.

Cheating, feeding, and afking should be the only reportable options.

sirwaterfles1 votes

Mhe go take a look at guys crieying for being banned in player behavior & moderation. 25% has i wont get banned somewhere in his chatlog.

Supreme Senpai691 votes

It's always hilarious when someone says "I'm intentionally feeding curse word curse word racial slur" and then in all chat they're like "Huh I never said that i just have lag lol my teams so toxic to me guys"

It's as if they don't know how reports work

a special one1 votes

true that. and im glad it doesnt cause now i can int idiots

EmollientNut01 votes

Wanna know why their punishment system doesn't work? Because feeders, ragers and AFK'ers still give them $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ And that's clearly their main goal over match and community quality. LoL is well known the biggest community of evil motherfuckers in gaming, and if Riot wanted to change that they could.

Gibberwatt1 votes

Of course, to make it to the 20 min mark, you have to have been leaving games for a while, and racked up a bit of history with the leavebuster. Personally, I have never had an issue with it, even though I do leave occasionally (surprise classes, friends in need, that stuff)
