Yo Riot once you guys start working on Tanks and their subclasses

please make the Items bad for anybody who is not a tank/juggernaut/bruiser. last thing we need is more squishies building tank and removing most if not all weaknesses from themselves.

I'm sure the balance teams wish it was this easy! Its very hard to balance items so they are appealing for certain champions and unappealing for others, plus if you also consider the fact that you have to take the actual champions in consideration its a very fine line of crazily strong/weak as shit. Whilst I really do hope that the Tank Ekko doesn't break out again! At the end of the day it is a game and there will always be flaws; I'm sure the riot team does its best. -anirataK Only

no. often its not. theyre just being pussies about adding the melee only tag to items, or make them more restrictive in general.

I'm pretty sure making tank items melee only would't stop people like Ekko from buying them LUL. From what I know they are adding "melee only" to items like duskblade and ghostblade. You have to realise this is a game. They can only "fix the game" after we find something that's broken. -anirataK Only

ekkos problem is a different one.

he has too much item independent damage, and utility in his kit that allows him to be effective on a bruiser build.

its the same with fizz and his w scaling with % missing health. still, restricting those items to melee only would at least get the adc abuse out of the way.

Most of these champs are Fighters as secondaries. Getting them to be useless without offensive itemization, is a tall order.

Especially with Ekko and Fizz. Since Any Assassin designed to use Lich bane, can seem to get away with a tri force Bruiser build. (With Tri force being recently buffed for Bruisers.)

And even if they arn't Bruisers as Secondaries. No Melee should go glass cannon.
