Literally lost earlier because 2-4 players were always chasing Singed. One didn't even have boots. Plenty of champions can kill Singed, but nobody should be chasing him unless he is diving your 1HP Nexus.

It's a mistake to leave him alone in lane though. You do have to "scare" him off, then leave it at that. Unless you're a very fed yi with ghost, just let him run away with 100 hp. If you outright ignore him, you can say goodbye to all your turrets to the inhib.

Not swifties, but I had 2 zeal items, and red buff, which is still a decent amount of movespeed, with a mini frozen mallet effect. He still got away. For the record it was MasterYi item 3046 item 3087 item 3072 item 3031 item 3111 item 3036 vs Singed item 3075 item 3110 item 3009 item 3029 item 3048 item 3116

I got flipped once and when I couldn't reapply red buff in time, the gap was formed and eventually increased when my ult wore off while his continued. In another similar game though, when I took summoner 6 instead of summoner 4 , I did get the Singed . He was only running HP though, which might've been why I could kill him.

What pisses me off is when your team has a singed and 3-4 enemies are chasing him around the top lane / upper jungle

and your allies are not taking advantage of it. They don't push a tower, they don't take drag.
They go back to shop maybe just maybe take raptors en route.

I had the same but I was playing Jayce. I was constantly holding top alone against 3-4 players including a proxy singed. And my team kept just... standing around, occasionally trying to help me, but mostly farming or chasing singed.
