This was an open game when the team score was 27-3 at 15 minutes so I just started spamming wards. Does the game somehow calculate where and when wards are placed when giving a vision score?

Hethalean3 votesYour vision score is based on what your warding has discovered (or denied). If you see the jungler, see an incoming mid laner, etc etc. Reveal them doing baron. It's entirely possible to have low vision score with high wards if your wards aren't doing anything because you're spamming them down in areas that aren't useful. Also I think ward average life span counts.

Not really, since ward score doesn't mean wins.
Also, random comment. I've never seen a low Elo team lose when every player on it bought at least 1 control ward (including ADC). Light the map like an xmas tree and reap the benefits.
