Why would you build a thornmail against a sated yi Most of his damage is true+magic damage... Also, why would you build IE on Garen and not attack him?

I do believe that the removed the crit effect on his E. So Really, IE isn't even good on Garen.

You also need to consider the fact that thornmail isn't as good as a stand alone armor item anymore. It's return damage scales of Armor. You probably want to add another armor item on top of that, for it to have any noticeable effect.

All said and done That's still no reason not to attack Yi. Looking at the images, I can get a pretty good idea how long the fight last, and you should have been able to turn that around. (Long before Kayle could get to him.) Especially since you can use your spin to win while on the retreat. There's simply no reason not to return fire.

Sated Yi deals majority of his damage as true dmg. Also, what is the point of you having an EI + BC but doesn't fight? lmao Q him, E while running, ult when he is low should kill him.

Why didn't you fight back? I mean, you were likely to die anyway, but activating your W, then E would have at least given you a chance to get him down to R kill range.

ALSO, Thornmail isn't a Yi counter since he mainly builds on-hit mixed damage. A better counter would be something like Ninja Tabi's, Randuin's, and Frozen Heart.

might as well try to run to my team, no point into chasing a yi into kayle's ult and his team just waiting in the corner.

Yi had his ult up, and had no problem keeping up with me while my Q was up. What's preventing him from kitting towards kayle? I had no vision on that part of the map and guessed that his team was around.

He likely would have been in kill range of your ult before he started to run away. But even if he didn't it would have at least used up an additional resource from the enemy team.

the main point of this really funny complaint is that he has exactly 5 items that are really good against you while you only have 3 items that are somewhat good against yi. how wonderful it would have been if you not had warmogs and banshees veil (lol) but rapidfire cannon and deadmans plate. you would INSTA-FUCKING-GIB this idiot who comes at a full build garen with villain.

the main point of playing bruisers/fighters is that you focus your entire build on dueling a single type of champion or even just one single champion and you go to him and you duel him even if its "teamfigh". if you are garen and you can single out master yi with silence, spin and ult then you can do your job. if you have banshees veil, you are fucking useless because you cant do your job anymore. its a trap to buy all this stuff. if you want to kill an AD damage dealer, you dont need magic resistance and if you need magic resistance, it means your team isnt doing their job to kill the APC. but you cant do both jobs, you can only do yours.

anyways, long talk short; all you had vs yi was thornmail + ninja tabi. this is 1,5 defensive items while he has basically 5 offensive items. how do you intend to defend from 4-5 offensive items with only one defensive item? are you joking? how overpowered would it be if you didnt die to him there.
