Another champion with hit 3 times, stuff happens, it is starting to get repetative
and the new chhampion
and the new chhampion

what about
?
Cait doesn't hit 3 times....
The reason Aatrox is the way he is: because he uses health to do more damage. Seems like a perfectly legit trade-off.
Wrong comment >.<
Actually, if she's in the brush, it's 3-4 attacks.
Its like saying 'Wow, a SLOW... omg how original, where have I seen that... "Lists every champion ever'.
Don't try to think of it as a attempted of a original concept, rather of a twist of things. its like trying to compare Viegars Q, shen's Q and Gankplanks Q.
Its stupid.
That's still more counterplay than say, someone who does something Every hit.
Secondly, Braum is 4 hits. Yet does not exactly require him to make the hits. He's the most unique in that respect.
Technically, Tahm needs to land 3 AAs then follow up with an ability.
you forgot a ton of them,
, and I probably missed some
What's Ziggs's 3-hit thing?
I made a mistake, its on a 12 second reset but his basic is amplified every so often.
ziggs?
I dont hate it but its not original anymore its getting really fucking old
It wasn't ever original. The idea of an ability that gets stronger/gains extra benefits from hitting the same target multiple times has existed since the term "role-playing game" became popular, probably even before that.
It's a way to gate power by forcing the player to stick to a fight. It's not the only way, but it's a good way. Kind of like how changing a spell from targeted to skill shot allows for more power and range.
idc its getting old
Can you name something better to fulfill the same purpose?
By not making it to strong the same thing they have always done base numbers, ratio, range, missile speed, other aspects of their kit. ITS GETTING OLD

So, because you're tired of seeing 3-hit mechanics, you would just make them weaker period.
Thank you for not being on Riot's design team. And I will keep thanking you for never joining them.
DID YOU MISS THE TO STRONG. NOT TO STRONG DOESNT MEAN WEAK. IT MEANS BALANCED
Did you miss your English classes since 3rd grade, or is it your second language? Either way, "to" and "too" are different words that mean different things.
Look, first of all, none of the 3-hit mechanics are ridiculously powerful. The only one to receive recent nerfs was Ekko's passive, and Ekko as a whole champion is overtuned so that was expected in the first place. They're strong, but balanced, and more pronounced, because they happen about 1/3 as frequently as other effects.
Second, making something happen on every attack is not power gating. Power gating is making the player work for their power. It holds them back if they don't have the right setup. Letting it happen on every attack and just scaling it back until it's worthless is what happened to Gangplank's passive. I'm not saying he needs a 3-hit passive, but the fact remains that his passive is the second-worst part of his kit.
You have no argument shutup already
When your argument is to tell me to shut up, you are the one lacking an argument.
Counter something I have said. Counter something anyone has said. Try to actually defend the holes in your own argument, instead of trying to pretend mine doesn't exist.
There is a reason people are disliking you and liking the other guy. You should try to find it.
more importantly, isn't it kinda old to see champions aimlessly autoattacking something over and over...raw numbers don't do too much for the game. They need something to their auto's...
the same thing they have always done
Wait. But that isn't old?
Apparently there are too many "new" champs that apply 3 stacks...
Seems to me that all of the new champs have a much greater advantage over all of the older champs. They're all much more mobile and have gimmicks that aren't even close to the rest of the older ones. Seems unfair and I'm getting tired of them releasing super OP champions. They all need nerfs.
Thats why old is old. If nothing eer changed and no new concepts came around, this game would suck.
A natural part of evolution is old ideas being obsolete or at least inferior. Welcome to how the world works
Wow, way to be a condescending jerk about my comment. All I'm saying is that it's not really fair that they keep adding all these champs that have a better advantage over the rest. The key-words I used were "better advantage". What's fun about being wiped off the map by an Ekko every respawn, and not being able to kill him? Or not being able to escape a Rek'Sai? Nevertheless, I do like that they're adding new ideas, but it's not very fair unless you buy the champ. I think that's why they're even making them the way they are anyways. Every time they release a new champion they're ridiculously OP. Then they spend the rest of their time trying to balance out their damage.
I suppose it was. I'm irritable because im getting shitty teams in game.
Anyways, even with the new champs, old ones are still viable. Many of them are counters to new champs. Nothing is fun about losing to ANY champ. Newer ones hae more tools at their disposal.
They are working on REworks for older champs that need it. Look at the Sion rework, super old champ now totally viable. Granted I dont hae faith they will have this much sucess EVERY time, but its happening slowly.
New champs make more money though so they are a bigger priority then reworks.
Technically he needs 4, since he needs an ability to hit to activate it. Getting three stacks does nothing on its own.
Fancy that, Riot's making champions that need to stick to a fight in order to significantly benefit from an encounter.
don't forget

I mean, at least this kind is somewhat new. Instead of cc and/or damage, it actually changes the champion's abilities somewhat. Surprise ganks aren't too powerful (no insta-stun like Annie), it requires a little work.
You're right, it's overdone. Lets get more Malzahars, or pre-nerf leblancs.
OH I CALLED IT! I KNEW THIS THREAD WOULD HAPPEN!
Well, to be honest, 3 is a pretty solid number for most things. Plus, three hits dont do something, it allows you to enhance your abilities. If it was 2, it would be too easy and if it was 4, too hard. What other way would be balanced for this guy?
Im glad there is at least some stacking or effort to be done before you can just swallow an enemy. Imagine Tahm flashing dragon wall, devourer enemy adc, get thresh lanterned, while kalista ults thresh. That adc just got moved to t2 tower without any build up :O
One of the dumbest things to complain about ever. Its a cool concept and I like champs with it. Gives you a goal, and clear counterplay to said goal, and as evidence from this champ some cool things can come from it.
Its just an idea, times change someday some new thing will be the new thing. Stop whining about stupid things just because "community whines"
Yeah, Ekko doesn't need that in his kit TBH.
You forgot Vayne and Vi
