No. Hecarim and Kalista were under the king's command. After the Queen died, the king went mad. His only goal was to revive his love. Ultimately he took her decomposing corpse to the blessed Isles to try to save her. He performed a strong spell that ended up with the blessed isles becoming the shadow isles.

That's very interesting actually i like Reading lores and understanding things. but i would love seeing him as a shadow king champion who interacts pretty well with the other shadow isle champions, I mean they don't have to make him a champ but i would love to.
