Since mages now have mana problems/burnouts, what about a mana regen aura?

Who here remembers Mana Manipulator? Back when it was still around, it made Sona/Ezreal toxicly powerful, and so it was removed. But now with mages no longer having consistent sources of mana regen (without shooting themselves in the foot on AP), would now be a good time to make a support item that has a mana regeneration aura?

Or is the very idea of a Champion giving another Champion mana a toxic one now?

Riot just doesn't like auras in general. Seriously, remember old WotA and Runic Bulwark? Those were fun items....although I do understand why they had to go.
