My expectations for next season are high

The state of the game was in a questionable state by the end of season 6. Then boost 7th season came along and made it significantly worse with 8th (current) season to be the game changer. Yet it hasn't lived up to its hype and has let me down. Riot hasn't been living up to its reputation and I feel I have about given it enough time to change that.

This next preseason is all I'm going to willing to see if Riot is finally getting their shit together. Preseason is going to make or break this game for me and I'm not going to wait until after the preseason to make this call. This season has been so disappointing that I dont even think bothering for the season rewards is going to be worth it. All i ask is that rito continue the trend of giving the season skin to champions I dont give a fuck about.

And that if this game does crash and burn. That someone with insider information reveals what went wrong so that those mainly responsible for it are called out on it.

oh yea, i agree 100%, if things dont get considerably better in season 9, then im done with league and going to stop defending it.. botlane and jungle meta right now is fcked and lets not even talk about smite mid and exp funnel...

personally if season 9 is not a fucking huge hit.. me and quite a lot of other people will leave this game.. this game has a lot wrong with the fundamentals right now alot alot wrong with them and for a game that is almost 10 years old its not up to par... twitch numbers have dropped hugely in not only pro but massive lol streamers....

people just cant be asked with lol now... it seems more of a mission to play than to enjoy it... people are leaving for funner games.. and not giving league their time of day.....

league isnt going anywere soon, but the numbers will drop hugeeeeely next season if its not an amazing day 1 of the season.... balancing should not be this poor for a billion dollar company at all

I'm optimistic seeing the recent changes. The problem with this season was that so many people were coming off of a high in early season 7 from getting solo queue back that no one was complaining about the balance problems. By the time people started to realize, the ardent censor meta was already out of hand and riot didn't have time to changes runes and bring everything together for the start of the season.
