@Riot - Can you make mastery level influence Team Builder Matchmaking?

I feel like this should go without saying that if someone has mastery 5 on a champ, they shouldn't get matched against someone who has never even played a champion before. I get it'd increase matchmaking times, but what's the point in playing if I'm just gonna get stomped and not have fun?

My last match, first time Fizz got matched against Mastery 5 Yasuo. I just feel like that's pretty unfair on the Fizz. Granted, we all completely understood. We didn't blame him, as it's just not fair at all that someone who has never played Fizz before goes into normals and gets matched against someone who has played a champ enough to get mastery level 5 with.

I'm not saying we should limit the game so much that you need to stick mastery 5 with mastery 5, 4 with 4, etc, but just make it so the gap of first time player vs Mastery 5 player doesn't happen.

Too much trouble for too little worth. Every level 5 champ one owns has started with them playing them for the 1st time against someone who's probably played their champ a number of times before.

I mean they already have a complex mathy match making system with all kind of magic to make sure you face players around your skill. We really don't need it for individual champions too. It only takes about 3-10 games to get comfortable on a new champ. Suck it up.

It only takes a week to reach lvl 5 with a champ. By that time you should be quite confident in them.

This should not be implemented. Technically, someone can lose every game with a champ and eventually gain level 5 mastery. While it can really mean something for some players, it is not a good indicator across the board.

It's literally just saying "Someone who is first time playing a champion shouldn't be stuck against someone who is level 5 mastery". I already know everyone is reading it as "Implement all mastery levels to matchmaking"

What's the problem with getting pounded 0-6 in lane with a new champion ? I've fed horrendously with every champ I tried for the 1st time....even Illaoi for all her OPness. It is exactly this that helps you learn. You absolutely cannot learn a new champion without testing their limits. Every time you feed, you learn one more thing you cannot do.
