Lets apply Riot's balancing methods to other champions...And see what happens.

So with the recent nerfs and changes to some champions..rubs Veigar 's face I still....I still love you. And the with changes to Ryze announcing he is getting a skillshot Q to make him less of a point and clicker in game. I thought it appropriate to apply some of these balance philosophies to other champions and see what happens.

  1. Point-n-click Okay first things first. Point and click are apparently a problem and have been/are being changed to allow for more counterplay. So why not take that idea and apply it to auto attacks. I mean autos are point and clicks so let them be intercepted by minions and other champions. Smite does it and does it well.

  2. On demand CC If Riot has shown us anything with the new Veigar E, it's that they don't like CC on demand and thing it lacks counterplay. So, Riven's Stun now has a windup time showing particles around her for .75 seconds allowing more counterplay options to fighting Riven. Also Taunts now work the way taunts should have, if you think you're about to be taunted take off your headset/mute your computer and look away from the screen, this will nullify the effects of the taunt. We feel this gives people much more counterplay options when going against some of that harder CC to deal with.

  3. Diversity Riot enjoys diversity for everything that it entails, so in order to bring diversity to all lanes we will be nerfing some items to help bring down some of those oppressive champions. (Okay this is an old one but I'm going to point out old item 3100 when they nerfed it because of Akali, Fizz and some other problem champions) Since some Marksmen are being overtly oppressive in lane we're nerfing item 3085 To only hit one extra target instead of 2, also we will be lowering the slow on summoner 3 we felt it gave some champions too much chase potential and kite potential while giving junglers and mid laners trying to gank lanes a very hard time. summoner 14 has also become a skillshot because of the presence of it being up was being too oppressive on some champions, but we decided to add 50 range to compensate.

Obviously this is just satirical, but sometimes I honestly wonder what would happen if they stuck to their design and balance philosophy when applying changes in other areas. I seriously don't understand what Riot is trying to currently do with their game, it feels so much different from Season 1,2 and even 3. Mobility is king and anything that counters it seems to have been or is being changed or nerfed. I miss the days when Riot let the community decide the direction of the game and actually listened to what was being said. But they even said at one point(Take this how you will) Do they balance around silver and gold and bronze or balance around LCS and Pro players. IMO that statement tells me exactly why they do what they do and many others have noticed it aswell. I just hope Riot can start listening to their community more, otherwise you're going to end up with the Mechwarrior online forum fiasco.
