So... How do you build GP?
Been playing him quite a bit. Even before the rework I played him a lot, especially since I always found critplank hilarious. However, since the rework, I'm not sure how to build him. Tried quite a few different builds, and I've settled on this for now:
Triforce Ninja Tabi Spirit Visage Randuin's Omen Black Cleaver Sterak's Gage
I'll explain why I chose each item, then the weaknesses I see with this build.
**Triforce: **No brainer. I used to build Iceborn Gauntlet, then I found out that barrels only copy physical damage, so I wasn't getting advantage of the bonus damage on it. Anyway, it gives GP a bit of everything: Health, mana, damage, crit, movespeed. The on-hit effect is really the reason to get it though.
Ninja Tabi: This one is more of a "default" pick. CDR boots are pointless in this build since I hit 35% CDR without them. Merc treads aren't that interesting since remove scurvy makes Tenacity far less useful. I don't really need the movespeed of either Boots of Mobility or Boots of Swiftness. And Berserker Greaves aren't that great on GP. Meanwhile, I don't have much armor on this build and the auto-attack damage reduction is very nice. ** Spirit Visage:** Magic Resist, Health and CDR. And it buffs the healing on Remove Scurvy.
Randuin's Omen: I hesitate between this and Dead Man's Plate. Randuin's wins out in this case because though the passive on DMP is nice, it provides more health and less armor than Randuin when this build is already poor on armor and heavy on health. Furthermore, the crit damage reduction on Randuin is REALLY nice. Finally, the active AoE slow is really useful to stop people from running. Never mind the attack slow.
Black Cleaver: I hesitate between this and LW, but this one wins out. It gives as much damage as LW, but also gives health and a massive amount of CDR. GP does physical damage often enough that he doesn't have to worry about stacking the debuff either.
**Sterak's Gage: **Likely the item I'm most hesitant about. Buffing base damage makes the triforce even stronger (and therefore Parrley MUCH stronger) and the health is nice. Never mind what happens when you get focused.
Issues
Low damage: The damage on this build is actually fairly low. It can burst surprisingly hard with a crit parrley to a barrel, but even then it takes a while to get the damage going.
Low armor: Even with Ninja Tabi and Randuin's Omen and full armor seals, I barely break 160 armor. Nowadays, that's nothing. The build has massive amounts of health to compensate (+1950 from items alone), but health without armor isn't that good, especially againsy %HP true damage. Worse, the reason I'm hesitant about switching out Sterak's for another damage item is because I would lose health, making me squishier. And I don't want to switch it for another armor item because otherwise my damage would be too low.
So, what would you recommend? What do you build on GP?

Mandatory
-- Reduces the recharge on barrels, and CDR means more global presence.
-- Mobility, plus you slow when you go in for the passive proc.
-- Some MR and you can cleanse ANOTHER CC, with some AD to boot.
-- Works with your Q, and applies around your target (only works on the first barrel). Bit more melee presence.
-- Also applies to your Q, so it gives some mixed damage and a bit more crit/AS if you wanna go melee mode.
-- For those pesky tanks.
-- Works with your Q, and gives you more melee presence plus a more reliable slow.
-- Armor, armor, armor, and a lot of mana/CDR.
-- Works with your Q, provides you with a bit more slowing.
situational as its only on 2 maps but its a great buy just after trinity cause it gives 2 core stats and huge crit chance along with a good passive.
bugged on gp don't use popping keg makes the titanic cone not appear from the barrel but instead yourself
