Why is everyone complaining about Rylais

Because it has one of the highest AP amounts in the game while also proving amazing utility through the slow and HP, and that the slow is 40% on AoE abilities.

And what do you mean "harder for mages to hit mobile champs in the mage update"? What about the update changed how players can land skillshots?

The best part is that those people are two and a half year late complaining about Rylai's raw stats. Suddenly it's a problem that needs immediate fixing?

Because it's pretty busted at the moment.

Because Rylai's got buffed in damage, making it a legitimate damage option with the other AP items.

Which is somewhat reasonable, considering that it has the same amount of AP as Luden's or RoA, but it has a decent slow attached instead of their respective power mechanics.
