Lollipoppy - Teemo Edition
Dude this isn't tencent's fault, I played a few days ago in the chinese server they don't even use this splash!
It's a crisper image that's actually pretty close to modern Teemo artworks.
However, the shadows around Teemo's eyeballs and around the mouth contribute toward it looking wrong (not so much bad). The shadows around his eyeballs break an illusion of how Teemo's eyes work, and it's akin to seeing a picture of Brock from Pokemon with eyes (it's not bad, we just don't want to see it). The shadows around his mouth make it look dog/cat-like with an upper-lip that overhangs his mouth (particularly the line leading up to his nose), when Teemo has always had more of a raccoon/mouse-like snout (where his whole face is slightly conical toward his nose) - so, again, it feels wrong when you look at it.

I think removing the shadows on the eyeballs does a lot by itself, but the mouth definitely makes him look more like Teemo. His mouth needs a bit more work, definitely, I don't profess to be a pro at photomanipulation.

EDIT: I find it interesting that simply being able to see his eyeballs makes him look high. No judgement to those who think it (I do too), I just don't understand why having eyeballs makes him looks high.

i legit saw this fucking abomination 2 minutes ago. It's my only teemo skin but I'm going classic from now on if I have to look at this shitty turd of a splash drawn by some retard who probably doesn't play league.
China thinks that yordles are dogs. That's why they replaced the red mushroom with a red tennis ball. That's also why is face looks so dumb.

We had complaints about this splash several times in the front page of the boards for quite a few times; however, Riot still hasn't said anything about it.
It's a shame...I really have a hard time looking at this splash considering how much I loved this skin in the past. Teemo just looks extremely deformed in this splash...
This is the third or fourth time in the last few weeks that a discussion about Cottontail Teemo's terrible new splash has been near the top of the boards main page. I really don't like Riot ignoring us on this, especially when Nightraven Fiora got a splash revert with far less support. I just want this Teemo art burned.

See like glacial olaf they put a splash that wasn't so cool, so that all regions have the same splash. They updated Glacial Olaf splash on the pbe, they will most likely do the same to cotton tail teemo sooner or later.

I just want to say I liked a lot of the splash art updates that have been coming through, the majority were better artistically. But, cottontail teemo used to be the dang cutest splash art I bought the skin just for the splash art tbh and this is creepy and poorly done. the original splash had a beautiful watercolor impressionist charm to it that fit the Easter theme so freaking well but this is garbage and I just want my money back for this skin. Its that awful to me. (I know I wont get a refund I'm just making a point) ps. doesn't even need to be the original splash art just get rid of this disgusting "art"

Or you could wait for the new splash art to come out. Art doesn't grow on trees, and obviously there was a reason that we got the art from their region over ours (Probably because Riot thought the other one wasn't as good or a worse representation of the character). I honestly wouldn't even bother adjusting the art itself at this point considering it'll be replaced and hence a waste of time. Again, I don't think it's that much of an issue but not because I don't care about splashes but because I know it'll be replaced with something MUCH better than both of the splashes.

No, teemo doesnt deserve a different splash. Teemo himself doesnt deserve anything good, (honestly I think this splash is fine) getting a bad splash art is his punishment for being satan.
...with all this going on I sincerely hope everyone knows riot isn't happy with downgrading splashes either.
