Kayn is less team-reliant as he has two forms to choose from, based on how the game is progressing. He has a bad early game, but a very strong late game. SA form is still kinda lackluster.

Elise is arguably the more well-rounded one, but is an early game champion that falls off in late game. She needs to snowball her 3 lanes as fast as possible to gain the advantage.

I think out of the 2, Kayn needs to think about team composition less than Elise, as he works pretty well in a lot of matchups. Elise requires more finesse to be able to maximize her kit, but is one of the top junglers when in meta.

Ultimately, it comes down to your personal enjoyment. Both of them are pretty good junglers.
