Completely different mechanic with the same name

You could say the same about Shyvana by that logic. It seems as though we are duggesting that Shyvana's fury be like Renekton's (empowering abilities) when they are just the same name.

That's what I've been wondering. It sucks for her because of how it doesn't recharge when she's dying. All I can think of is they wanted a weird variable time mechanic for her dragon form duration.

Just a hint - use the reply button so people know who you are talking to. Also, I love the Maokai bit.

Read this as "why is Shyvanna a furry" and was confused for a second there, wondering if I missed a lore change or something.

It is a way of gating Shyvana's dragon form. Not only does it provide an incentive for Shyvana to stay in the fight, it adds a layer of depth and mastery for Shyvana's gameplay.
