Assassin mains really love to defend their champions

And i don't blame them. If they decided to play assassins, there is nothing i can do to stop them. But we all know why we hate assassins. They wrap the whole game directly to themselves. Assassins thrive on making selfish plays instead of team helping ones. Every minion wave, every kill is theirs for the taking. But the thing is it isn't fun to play against assassins and it isn't fun to play with them. If they're snowballing that's fine, but if they're not, might as well consider the game 4v5. It's just that their class is extremely frustrating to play against. And if an assassin gets fed in a lane, well you know you just screwed someones chances of having fun in this game. It's just ridiculous how their dedicated players love to defend their champions and abandon them no longer when they are useful.

Sure, you can try, a lot of people resort to complaining about assassins being too strong, oppressive, unhealthy or having no counterplay, maybe if enough people have that ideology, Riot will follow through. Not that I agree with it, League has way bigger issues than assassins as a whole.

Assassins thrive on making selfish plays instead of team helping ones.

Killing or wasting the enemy's time is helping your team, helping your team isn't dictated by whether you land hard CC, shield, heal or use exhaust on someone

Every minion wave, every kill is theirs for the taking. But the thing is it isn't fun to play against assassins and it isn't fun to play with them.

No that's just selfish player play or inability from other players to compete with CS, no assassin is entitled to every lane

just that their class is extremely frustrating to play against. And if an assassin gets fed in a lane, well you know you just screwed someones chances of having fun in this game. Most things on League are frustrating to play against because they are boring, linear number champions with very little skill attached

Since when is a tanky bruiser killing you by mashing buttons and being so tanky it might not matter if he gets caught out cool?

Since when is a farmed AP champion zoning you out with superior range/damage or killing you because of high burst cool?

Since when are supports with most of the time easy to land CC cool?

Since when are fighting farmed ADCs that do so much damage to you, if you aren't a tank they can just about two shot you cool?

When is fighting that ever awesome? None of that by itself is cool and most of the time it's dumb, but sometimes champion interaction can be cool regardless of damage due to how champions via players react to each other and attempt to outplay one another.

A fair amount of players abandon champions when they get their power reduced or fall out of favor due to the 'viability' or 'playing to win' methods, some players have champion loyalty, some don't, some players care more about winning or climbing ranked than others and that's ok. Though it's part of a bigger issue of too much focus on climbing the ladder instead of skill, but that's another topic.

You mean the same way so called mage mains cry like whiney lil brats about how they are constantly oppressed with nerfs while assassins are left untouched? While they lie and say we are in the assassin meta even though the so called best assassin who has no counter play in the game "zed" only has 50 percent win rate?

Sigh, the problem with assassin haters is they don't see how to beat any assassin.

Mostly all assassins wants you pass the halfway mark in lane because it gives them more room to work with so freezing hurts them heavily and worth more then trying to just get every cs, if they roam tell your team they're mia and farm while you can.

Main two things you have to do, which you should do vs anyone is play safe and harass as much as possible, while vs each assassin during lane phase(before first tower is taken):

Akali- harass as much as possible when she tries to farm/pre-6 and watch your mana try to keep it above 60-70% between every harass and never stay pass the 2 walls in lane pass lvl 6 unless you have jungler aid, and buy a pink. If she roams/dies shove winions into turret and hurt her farm.

Annie- be on guard when she has 3 stacks and flash

Diana- same as akali w/o the pink

Ekko- A bit hard since he has Q and blink gap close but try to trade with him when Q is used since he won't have it even if he E's you.

Fizz- trade without staying in his Dash range, if he used playful tricker it's time to trade with him.

Kass-Harass as much as possible pre-6, while he has some good burst damage I find his damage not really great.....

Katarina- keep her off winions so she has to use Q to farm, try to trade when her Q is used but not on you.

Kha- try to trade when near winions and his W is down(so try to keep him off winions so he uses W to farm)

LB stay out of her W range if you can while you try to harass her if she uses W she can still mark->chain but do try to punish her while W is on CD

Nidalee- Dodge the spear and try to harass when you have minion advantage,

Patheon- You need a jungler.

Talon- Go for the trade when his W is down.

Yasuo- harass with AAs when his passive is 98%-full, Do not be in front of your minion wave however, If he has wind wall use 1 spell only if you're near 95%-100% mana, if wind wall is used don't mind and wait until it leaves then it's your chance to harass him, never try to finish him off in 1 go.

Zed- Harass/trade with him for using the shadows offensively, dodge the shuriken and try to zone him if he's below 30-40% hp and you have double his HP instead of trying to kill..
