Jungle mains are generally decent human beings..
Except Lee mains. They are the most entitled, bossy and obnoxious individuals to ever play this game.
Except Lee mains. They are the most entitled, bossy and obnoxious individuals to ever play this game.
I'm assuming it's an archetype; jungle mains like the role to be able to contribute to every laner's success without stealing the limelight, tank jg in particular. It would take a rather selfless and protective person to want this role often.
When I jungle I build full tank on everyone just because I like the role of protector. The only damage items I build are Rylai's on Elise since her base damage was hit so hard so many times, and occasionally a Titanic on Jarvan, but otherwise, straight CDR utility based damage sponge and I'm perfectly happy with it.
Lee mains on the other hand, want to show off their #BigPlays and end up being "entitled, bossy and obnoxious" when they die trying to be overdramatic in their ganks or engages.
Look at me go! Dash! Dash! Ima Insec the shit outta you kids ayylmao #LCSPlays!
That's cute... W. "Shut down."
I main jg and i generally play tank jg and usually end up with 20+ assist

are Bae.As with all tank junglers. I also occasionally like to go full tank

jungle <3
"Lee attracts tryhards", and he really does lol
Still better than being a looser. That's a really flawed argument.
This has been my experience. Jungle happens to be one of the most flexible positions, where you can fill any role in the team. If you have no tank top and your team is squishy, pick a tank! If you have a tank support but top bot and mid decided it was a great idea to all pick AD champs, play an ap jungler!
These junglers are the best, they are the glue that holds the team together!
Lee sin mains though are the kind of scumlords that wont give you blue buff because 'they can use it better'. Lee sin mains will pick lee sin into a team full of AD squishies and still not build tanky. Lee sin mains will push your lane to steal your gold when you are returning back to lane, and not even try take the tower. There is a special circle in hell reserved for those people.
ok then, there is only one problem with this. pushing your lane when you aren't there is actually a smart decision, as it denies the enemy gold by having their tower kill the minions. don't be an entitled prick and let your jungler take your cs when you can't.
yea but now ur open for enemy ganks and you can't farm safely if the enemy freezes.
True, if your jungler doesn't do it right. if done correctly the wave goes back to the middle.
from time to time, most of the time it just screws you over, generally its because either you or your opponent got a kill and neither you is in lane, now you both return to lane and the jungler just pushed the lane into enemy territory and you are now susceptible to ganks while your lane opponent is farming safely under tower.
Defending lane by letting them push and last hitting is fine, and pushing lane after the lane was cleared to take a tower is fine, but getting greedy and screwing up the lane dynamics is not
if its screwing you over that means you jungler didn't do it right. the strat stands as really good. and if your jungler does fuck it more often its probably because you don't give them the time they need to push it far enough.
Junglers taking cs have three routes, the two you mentioned and also the deny route which is pushing it under their tower and then leaving. their tower will take the minions before they get back for the most part, and it really fucks with any laner that isn't a bloodthirsty savage, if they are a bloodthirsty savage just ping for your jungler when they are somewhat near and ask for a gank, when the savage makes it back to lane. keep your bush warded like it should be wven when the lane is just equalized in the center, and there is literally no bad part of this plan.
if your jungler does it wrong or if you push them away too fast, you can end up with a hyper pushed lane, but if you play safe and just last hit until the minions naturally return to the equal position there will still be no problem unless the enemy immediatly jumps on you, and if that happens and the reason your jungler left wasn't becuase you were an ass they will ride in from where they just were to secure a flash or kill on the target, but remember that if it syou your jungle will probably stop ganking you and will start actively screwing you over because they probably don't think you deserve a win with them any more.
in essence, this whole situation boils down to the fact that you don't understand the entire influence of jungle on lane, but you are nearly there it seems. if yo usee a jungler pushing in your lane, just let them do it.
junglers do it wrong often because laners teach them to do it wrong by pushing them away to fast, laners that get screwed over by junglers that do it wrong then start to think that the strat is unsound and start pushing away junglers that are still learning the dynamic thus screwing them from making the change without practice.
of course both can also happen from lack of skill but I think i can rest my case here.
"If you have a tank support but top bot and mid decided it was a great idea to all pick AD champs, play an ap jungler!"
You mean every game ever since 5.24 xD
Lee is one jungler I can never pick up, and that makes me happy. I'd feel dirty if I got good at Lee.
Utility Jungle mains UNITE!
My personal experiences:
Surprisingly decent folk given the learning curve of the champion. Generally seem interested in helping their laners out, and are likely to own up to their mistakes when they happen.
Toxic pricks that think they know better than you. Frequently leap into unfavorable situations then proceed to blame you when they feed. Often claim to be plat+ smurfs.
Comes in two breeds. Either he doesn't talk much and he snowballs really hard, or he inexplicably quits at the 10 min mark.
Incredibly prone to going on tilt. At least he's not toxic, but tends instead to wallow in self pity when things aren't going his way.
He's incredibly serious about the game. Either he's unusually quiet and determined, in which case he's probably competent -- or he's horribly incompetent and is going to flame your team for his misplays.
He'll carry once he gets sated, or at least he thinks he will. Spends the first 20 minutes farming the jungle, then the rest of the game trying to 1v5. Very occasionally he'll actually get that pentakill, but usually he just spoonfeeds the enemy team an easy victory.
Generally decent folk, really. They'll do their jobs and keep their heads down. A lot like Elise mains, but a little more introverted.
She's just read about splitpushing and is going to do it all game. Possibly mechanically decent, in which case, your team may do well if you can adapt to her obsession for never sticking with the team. But nevertheless a frustrating wildcard.
He's generally OK.
Is vain and a little glory-obsessed, and can be a mite catty when things don't go his way, but generally isn't toxic. Usually competent and a welcome addition to the team, but can grate in his own way.
Literally sadists. If he's not badmouthing your team, then he's badmouthing the enemy team. More frustrating than most in this category because he's usually actually very good at the job, so you can't call him out on anything.
He's stuck in bronze with these worthless scrubs, but really he deserves challenjour. The truth of the matter is that he's going to feed and exert no map pressure, because his map awareness hovers around absolute zero.
Vary in competency, but are at the least usually team players. They aren't toxic, per se, but do tend to lean on the bitter side. A smidge pessimistic.
He doesn't know how he got here or what this game is, but he'll jungle, he guesses.
Oh please, do you know why Riot made the jungle icon a bush? Because most junglers spend half the game jerking off in one.
We have to sit in it because people like you feed 5 kills before our 1st clear and we cant gank a lane that has 2-4 lvls on us.
mains can be annoying.
I understand if you are talking about the "farm then farm then farm again" mentality. Other than that, what about us is annoying?
(I have 300k Mastery on Shyvana. I'm most certainly a Shyvana main)
IDK but I run into a lot of major tryhard shyvana players that Constantly invade the enemy jungle and try to make the other junglers life as misserable as possible. Dive into 1 v 5's and constantly chase people down. Most of them aren't that good but they are always everywhere.
My one goal is to get Sated as soon as humanly possible. If the enemy left his jungle uncleared, I'll take it. If I can get an easy gank, thats good too. But I can't waste time chasing people or begin dead. Can't stack Sated while dead. -.-*
The most annoying ones were the freelo abusers in mid Season5. When devourer Shyv was goddamn busted. But her dedicated player can outfarm even her laners.
Amusingly, the post body was exactly what I thought when I read the post title.
Imo worse than Lee mains are fotm rerollers that switch for every freelo as soon as it becomes op. I recently run into jungle Graves that was saying he mains Graves jungle since always.
worst mains by role:
top:
jungle:
mid:
/
adc:
support:
i guess but honestly the real problem is mage "supports" who are salty that they didn't get mid
" They are the most entitled, bossy and obnoxious individuals to ever play this game."
So all jungle mains?
Lee mains give a bad rep to junglers.
Nah jungle mains do it themselves.
Entitled - Every jungle main who has to make it clear that that the camps and buffs are his.
Bossy - Every jungle main who thinks they are LCS caliber shot callers.
Obnoxious - "its not my job to win your lane, but you are supposed to leash for me and help me with invades" "If you die to a gank its your fault, and if I die to an invade its your fault."

No. When you have a lane that is a constant source of gold and exp, as opposed to the scarcity of camps, they're going to get upset you take their things without permission. If you're behind, just ask. Most jg are willing to give ADC red and mid blue, unless they're feeding.
This is kinda true. You should still listen if they want to take dragon or baron because this helps everyone, not just themselves. Use your best judgment.
Leashing is an 8 second activity whereas ganking and camping your lane is an extended investment that consumes a lot of resources. It can easily go sour if it fails.
If you die to a gank, yes, it is your fault. The jungle isn't the only one who will say this. Ward.
If the enemy jg is invading often, then help. They're overextended into dangerous territory with little to no vision. Take the opportunity to get an easy kill and help yourself in the long run by helping your jg help you. If you don't then yes, it is your fault again.
Ever heard of taxing, junglers do it all the time. Its especially awesome when it happens after an unsuccessful gank. Also Idk what junglers you are playing with but I don't ever see junglers willing give up camps no matter what point in the game.
I'm not listening to a "shot caller" in solo que. Most of the time those are the worse people on the team, and especially in jungle were people think its a required skill.
You still make it sound mandatory, which is hilarious coming from the group of people who hate being ordered. Also depending on the leash and where the minions are in lane, you might just fall behind from the get go in lane doing so.
Its not my fault that you can 1v1 the opposing jungler and its not my job to keep him out of "your" jungle. I'm not leaving lane to get collapsed on by a mid laner who followed me and a jungler you pose no threat to.
You leash once out of the entire game. After that, the only time jungle needs help is taking baron and dragon should be a team event anyway, and if they get invaded. More on that in a moment. However, the jungler is constantly expected to help lanes at all times. After their first clear, lanes expect junglers to be their personal supports (not all laners, just the toxic ones). As far as camps go, i have no issue if the laner is behind and top/Bot takes Krugs/Gromp or Mid takes chickens. However, if all three lanes are taking those camps, the jungler is down half of his gold experience income for the next 90 seconds. Laners get a fresh wave of 6 (sometimes 7) minions every 30 seconds i think it is. You can afford to give 2 to the jungler if he took the enemy's flash and/or got a kill. (I do agree that any more minions that that is too much, and never the cannon unless the laner is going back and the jungler is pushing out the wave, And taxing for a failed gank is obnoxious.)
Back to if they get invaded, thats at least +150g for you, double that if you get the kill. You also remove the threat of the enemy jungler showing up in your lane after he just killed your jungle. I'm not saying stop the invade if all 5 members of the enemy team in going after your jungle. Just show up, kill the enemy jungle and get back to your lane, its well worth the missing 3-5 minions. If the invading jungler has help, ping your jungler out and pressure the lane with the missing enemy.
On the flip side, if you are getting ganked, "it's not the jungler's job to keep the enemy out of your lane". Actually, it is. If the enemy is ganking your lane and I'm not on the other side of the map, I'm going to show up to help to make sure the enemy doesn't get a kill, and possibly pick up one or two for our team.
On the subject of shotcalling I have no comment. I play Shyvana, thus I can solo dragon with ease provided I make sure the enemy has no vision and I know where the enemy jungler is. After that, I don't even bother, I know I don't have the right experience to shotcall objectives.
As far as leashing. The first clear of a jungler is the most painful. A bad first clear can really fuck up the rest of the game for the jungler. Thats why Leashes exist. The better first clear a jungler has, the better game they will have, and the sooner they can get to ganking.
The jungle mains you are describing in this game do not exist. I have no problem helping out people who play jungle if they have to. Leashing, ganking, and teamfighting are never an issue with people like that.
Now as for jungle mains, as op said " They are the most entitled, bossy and obnoxious individuals to ever play this game."
You mean Lee mains.

The jungle IS HIS, just like the farm from your lane IS YOURS. Helping with invades and leashes is just to bolster your chances at winning, because if your jungler is dying and is underleveled, nobody gets ganks, and your team gets pushed out of objectives. The jungler has 3 lanes to worry about AND his jungle. It's not his job to win YOUR lane, it's to help the TEAM win.
What about me?
:D
You can't be a successful Shaco player without being an asshole. That's the law.
well you are not wrong lol
You can't be a successful Shaco player without being an asshole. That's the law.
The trick is being an asshole to your opponents instead of against your teammates.
My point was that
requires to farm champions early game and get kills. That implies that
player wants to get as much advantage as he can get ignoring wheter his laner is ahead or behind in kill gold. Oh and that's also a must. Coming in at level 1 and killing that
and taking her buff + spamming joke/laugh/mastery icon is a thing that gets inside your oponents head and make him lose his temper.
The best way to play Shaco is to be unbelievably polite and nice. Totally wreck their faces and be the most annoying scum of the earth, but all the while type stuff in all chat like "Nice try, maybe you'll get me next time xD" "Man, that was a sick play dude :)" "That was a great game guys! :D"
And then go 30/2/5.
in my opinion these are the most friendly junglers

Maybe not Elise, I find nautilus jungles much friendlier
Tank Elise players are generally friendly. The carry Elises are the salty whiners.
Not all Lee Sin mains are meanies, look at Foxdrop
I guess a champion forms how someone acts. its not like they had there personality formed before they even played league..
