Stopping your teammates from banning a champion is literally not the intent of "hovering". You are entirely misinformed. The purpose of it is to inform your team of what you would LIKE TO play and maybe they will also try to build a team around it or complimentary to it.
Just because my username is "A real troll" also has no bearing on the context of my post nor the candor of my play. You seem to like to make assumptions that suit your world view rather than thinking about context and purpose or perhaps reading about a topic and educating yourself.
Stopping your team from banning your pick IS the intent of hovering over a champion, you dimwit. If you wanted your team to ban it you wouldn't have hovered over it. And yes there are OTHER reasons for pick intent as well like letting build around the champion that you would like to play BUT that doesn't discredit the fact that it also signals to your team mates to not ban that champion as well. In fact your team mates cannot build a team your the champion you intend to pick if they go out and ban it, that would be completely contrary to what is would be used for. Thus just by even your own fucking logic it makes sense that its used for stopping teammates from banning it.

You did that YOURSELF with your own comments "I ban champs all the time that I don't want to play with or against regardless of what my team hovers". As you clearly fucking stated you ban your teammates champions regardless of whether they have intended to pick it or not, you are clearly trolling without regard for your teammates there is NO ASSUMPTION there just fucking facts. Your user name just REINFORCES this fact that you have a jackass type mentality that causes more bickering and toxicity among your team before the game even fucking starts by banning your own teammates champs which causes the person whose champ was banned to already be annoyed by your actions.
Maybe you should educate yourself before you act like a fucking ignorant, arrogant jackass and call people out about "world views".
And a side note, I love how you were all screaming like a fucking dickwad in caps talking about banning people's champs but when you got your argument countered and called a troll you started acting all proper as if you have some higher moral ground.
