Was just wondering if we will have to play the placement matches again and if so is there going to be a rollback on elos? And does preseason elo affect where you get placed? If so how?
Or is it just going to continue where you left off?

You will have to play placements again.
There is a soft reset so players move to the nearest benchmark hidden elo devs picked.
Your preseason ranking/games impact the soft reset location you hit. It can be higher or lower then the last season obtained rank. This last statement is off personal experience so take it with a grain of salt.
