I am still puzzled as to why duo queue is still allowed in solo draft and ranked? How is this even fucking fair? How is it fair to go against an enemy duo lane when you have an autofilled support? Like what the fuck are you people at Riot thinking? I genuinely want to know the logic behind this.
By appropriately adjusting their combined MMR. And yes it is that simple, once the enough stats have been gathered to determine the appropriate adjustment for the average duo vs solo play.
I whole heatedly agree that Solo needs to be Solo and Duo should be Duo, it is impossible laning vs it and warps the game around the duo unhealthily.

it still in effect because thats the name of the queue. ranked solo/duo. most games in existence at the moment do the same for duo que, just give an MMR penalty. having comms doesnt mean its impossible to feed or lose from others feeding either.
in fact im surprised people even say voice comms are that big an advantage. you can copy paste a discord link into lobby and instant voice comms. having them just makes communication quicker.
