Can veterans who've been level 30 for a long time (and I mean a LONG time, like, Season 1-3 long) get like, an additional 20 levels when this whole thing is released? I just think it'd be fair, first off, so I'm not placed along side new Level 30s, and also just to show something like "Yeah, I've played this game for a long time. I'm a veteran."
It would be a great reward to veteran players and a token of pride for us to wear.

i mean i have been playing since season 2 also, and don't get me wrong it would be cool if riot did that but lets be honest... are they gonna?

They said that they won’t give us the 30 chests that we should have gotten when we leveled up, as since we played longer we have gotten more IP, or something like that.
Giving us a free 20 levels and giving us 20 free capsules? Not a chance

"I’ve played a ton of games at level 30 already. Will I start at a higher level in the new system?
No. The new, uncapped leveling system is primarily aimed at giving you more goals to shoot for (and rewards for hitting them). With that in mind, we didn't think it made sense to start so many of you at a very high level. That would take the goals away from the very people this system is intended to support."
