Killing dragon now gives a buff to your team: + 180-270 gold on your next kill / assist

instead of an instant 180-270 gold.

The buff would last for 4 minutes and would promote aggression during that time.

The idea is to make it so that winning teams who have destroyed all the inner and outer towers don't feel compelled to just choke out the enemy team for 15 minutes and take dragon two or three times while slowly building up an unstoppable gold advantage. With this change, the winning team is forced to push their advantage even if it means risk and opening themselves up to being outplayed.

Waiting game is not fun. Risky team fights and dives at the inhibitor turret that could really go either way is fun.

My understanding is that waiting games are a lot more common when teams are incapable of getting significant gold advantages. Through dragon control, for example.

Coupling that potential gold advantage to a risky play would impel people to make more aggressive plays to secure the game.

I just don't think waiting around for a huge advantage should be a viable thing in a competitive game, any more than waiting for unitcapped battlecruisers in starcraft should be a competitive regular strategy. I think there should be more agency, and your "waiting game" could backfire if the enemy plays it correctly, and it does in games which are balanced for that. But they can't in league of legends, because there isn't really any interaction in a waiting game for league of legends.

which means we should create some interaction or take steps to reduce its viability.

Why on earth would you want to risky, aggressive plays without a gold lead?

I'd rather just run a hardcore siege comp and laugh at all the teamfighting comps trying to take dragon as if it means anything.

Would this buff be a Sigil or Baron type buff?

all i can say is that trynd is garbage. Only useful with lifesteal runes.
