you can choose to take only one position to Que up for
so if you want only to play one position and don't mind the wait you can do so

This idea has already been suggested many times. But I suspect the main concern is that it would increase wait time for everyone in que, not just those who que up with a single role. Problem in master elo may be that there might then be a role missing for hours and everyone will unknowingly wait for nothing. Maybe it could work for lower elo but I am not sure if it would be worth the extra wait time.
