10Tickler1 votesWhat about Nocturne's kit leaves anything to be desired? AOE Lifesteal passive, Speed/AS boost+Damage Q, Spellshield+AS boost W, Hard CC+Magic Damage E and MASSIVE gapcloser Ult that ignores terrain. If you think he can't be laned, then you're using too many spells early and not getting any Mana, which does work well on him with Either IBG or FH, or even TF. If you're thinking he has no damage, I don't know what you're doing, because he's consistently a high-damage carry when I see/play him.
He fits his niche perfectly.
