@Riot Opeli: What happened to the Shurima Patch?

darkdill··9 votes·756 views

Do you have any info on what happened to the lore reworks for Sivir, Cassiopeia, Nasus and Renekton (a.k.a. The Shurima Patch)? Seemed to just vanish into obscurity after Sivir's VU.

Found some horrid inconsistency that meant you had to scrap it all? Sivir's present lore is kinda crappy, you know. That cliffhanger...

What's wrong with cliffhangers?

There's nothing wrong with cliffhangers as long as they eventually get resolved.

Unfortunately, Riot's done a very poor job with that.

SurrenderAt20.com datamines PBE files, and they've found some files referencing "Ascension." As in Talisman of Ascension, as in Shurima.

You might not have to wait that much longer.

Kind of a shot in the dark there.

To be a bit more correct, these are files for a Dominion featured gamemode or something like that. Also, Xerath and Viktor and some other champions are mentioned in the files along with "WardCapture".
