Yeah, RITO has nerfed Lee Sin quite a lot ... oh wait, they haven't.

Well, it's just that (and I can vouch) that its usually a majority that ask for the buffs and only a small minority that ask for nerfs. It takes more to gain a buff than it does to get a nerf. Unless you're Lee Sin.

LittleBlast1 votes

At the same time they havent buffed him directly yet. Odds are he will just be outclassed without being nerfed.

I'm pretty sure 99.99% of this community never asked for Nidalee jungle.

OyddAWqJ5r6 votes

He does have a point though, jungle diversity does by extension mean we pseudo-asked for Nidalee jungle.

Lore Ventus1 votes

No, we never never want to see nid ever.... Just look at her in top lane, mid, or bot. Them bursts.

Yuki Akuma14 votes

Nidalee being good at jungling isn't what people are angry about. It's that she does too much of everything. She is a master of all trades, not a jack. Not to mention she has a game breaking bug that makes her already absurdly high damage low cooldown spears INVISIBLE. If all I mentioned were fixed so she would have an actual weakness, then I guarentee no one would whine about her anymore.

BluePolarizer12 votes

no cc, weak sustained damage, squishy, team will lack either initiator, tankiness or sustained damage. In solo queue I've seen Nidalees jg fail pretty often since they have no idea how to late game if they fail to snowball. Would rather have a Sejuani, J4 or Skarner on the team for sustained damage/tankiness/initiation. Different for pros, of course.

Tis a nice day1 votes

She maws your face off from a distance if she gets fed, but without any snowballing, she's little more than a subpar poke/heal mage.

TenSlashTen3 votes

I never had an issue with nid jungle. Just idiot low elos don't ward so she got fed most of the time I saw her on my team/enemy team. games just turned into "welp you didn't ward so nidalee ganked you again successfully" and then you just lost cause the enemy jungler/ally jungler was like 3/0 taking dragons alone while your team lost all map control.

Not an issue with nidalee. An issue with low elos lacking simple mechanics. I still see people not warding at all and I'm plat going to diamond soon in NA. (I just started playing ranked this month in NA because I just transfered back less than a week or 2 ago from LAN)

the sejuani nerfs are literally not going to affect her hardly at all. In all honesty you guys are hypocrits for complaining about lee sin dealing do much damage well being tanky when sej had much more damage and was even tankyier.

Why are you idiots using sejuani being nerfed to say all tank junglers are being nerfed. I'm real tired of that shit.

These boards are a massive circle-jerk, everyone knows that. Someone makes a thread about how a champ is OP and it gets a few upvotes. Then everyone else and their brother makes literally the exact same thread just to feed their ego with upvotes. Go look at every QQ thread on these boards. When you boil everything down, they are all the same thing.

  • Complain about a champ by exaggerating their strengths and downplaying their weaknesses.
  • Claim that the champ is OP because of some internal conspiracy organized by Riot trying to get more #LC$BigPlays (fun fact: LCS is a net loss for Riot).
  • "I'm only 17 years old but I passed my AP Computer Science class, I could code better than Riot's software engineers!"
  • "I could balance the game better than Riot's dedicated balance team!"
  • Complain that any champ seen in LCS is op and needs nerfs
  • When popular LCS champs are nerfed, claim that the nerfs weren't actually needed and that said champ is now garbage
  • After all this, complain that (for some reason?!?) there isn't variety in LCS.
  • Use a greater than 50% winrate as justification to nerf a champ, but when a champ has a less than 50% winarate claim that winrate means nothing and the champ still needs to be nerfed (here's looking at lee sin's solid 47% winrate)

This is the exact content of 99% of every thread on these boards. If you disagree with any part of it you get downvoted by the circle-jerkers until your comment isn't visible because you're threatening their means of survival. They can't risk you exposing their logical fallacies and thus starving them of upvotes. The circle-jerkers gotta stick together, they are a pack animal.

The problem with Lee Sin is that if Lee Sin is good it just feels like there is nothing you can do and that he is always outside of reach while running around and picking of your team left and right... (well then again he can use 3-4 abilities to get away and he has one of the highest movement speeds in the game... Q can jump to a monster/minion or less threatening enemy champion, W ward jump.. duh... E is a slow Lee Sin can use to try and simply walk or run away from his pursuers as he has one of the highest movement speeds in the game after all... and R is a knock back) This just feels so horrible and unfun...

While on the other hand... a bad or mediocre Lee Sin.. yeah.. they probably won't get that much done..

And LCS will always have a low variety... unless champions become more unique and get more specific strengths and bigger weaknesses as then the game will be more about picking the right champion for the job.. not just the strongest one... and more about picking the right champions against the enemy.... (but Riot doesn't want hard counters so this isn't happening... so LCS will keep having low variety)

And well I don't think there is really a much reason to hate on Riot... though 5.4 with the Veigar and Kassadin changes.. was worrying...

Other then Lore.... as I feel like Riot have messed up pretty big there.... like the retcon without any plans or anything to support this retcon or the loss of the old lore.... (Well maybe they had some plans? But I haven't seen much too it) And the retcon happened because apparently the Institute of War was limiting them and holding them back.... though I haven't really seen much progress with this "limit" and problem now being removed and giving them more freedom to write things as they please

Well most of the lore is in a limbo between being "real"/cannon and not... We will see how it goes I guess... if it goes anywhere that is

I honestly didn't see many complaints about Sej being OP. In fact, it felt refreshing to, for once, a tank actually having some ban rate and popularity.

you are making the assumption that its the same bunch of people who are are complaining about sej being OP and jungle diversity tho a more accurate term is champion diversity* I think jungle actually is much more diverse than it was back in s4

and people will obviously complain about OP champs who woulda thought that people wanted higher champion diversity, NOT MORE OP CHAMPIONS

remember s4 champion diversity? yeah we didnt resort to making champions OP so they could jungle

i dont think anyone wanted nidalee in the jungle, hell we barely tolerate her in lane.

Antonok4 votes

To be fair, Nidalee has been b****ed about since season 3 when she still had tree sized nukes and could spam them all day long, and its not likely that people will stop griping about anything in this community.

On Sej, the changes to Gromp in addition to Cindehulk put her a bit over the top. She already was one of the most viable tank junglers before that so the minor tuning shes getting is a bit deserved unless people really want to go back to vi/j4/lee trinity again (which despite all the b****ing no one wants)

Meep Man4 votes

Sejuani is still gonna be viable guys.

Silents4294 votes

What a gross misunderstanding of what is actually happening.

The nerfs to Sej are minor and only get rid of what is called "FoTm players"

DropFill3 votes

The only problem I see with Nidalee jungle, is that her weakness that you could actually exploit ( lack of safe waveclear, being behind minions in lane to dodge damage) are easily avoided when she jungles

Ironhand3 votes

Better Yet, Don't nerf the champions, NERF THE FREAKING TOUCAN THAT HITS LIKE A TRUCK! (other words the jungle). The reason why Elise and Eve and Kha and non-meta ones arent used is because they cant hold their own in the jungle.

So Riot, LeeSin to the junglers nxt time

KarlSin1 votes

problem is that then you would NEED to nerf all of the meta junglers because they would literally take 50-100 damage from camps at level 3 and be healing up from most camps by level 6. Also the toucan did get nerfed, try your low-sustain junglers again.

KaisadiIIa1 votes

Actually since this patch junglers with low sustain or bad cleaning are capable of jungling again since they nerfed the damage of some camps. It's not perfect, but it's a huuuge buff to them.

Big Bang Bob3 votes

I thing it's what I call "pwn shock". Someone sees someone whoop them and automatically comes to the conclusion that the champ is OP.

Some people may also find certain kits annoying. In another universe, support Velkoz is in the same spot as Thresh and Rammus is in the same spot as LeeSin. Both of these guys extreme beasts if allowed to be, one able to easily win team fights if set up correctly while massive damage to his opponents in lane from a long range, the other is able to become nigh invincible while also sporting unavoidable CC and massive DoT to those he can close the gap with, especially to attacking AD champs. Guys like these either have weaknesses with most teams, are extremely difficult, often countered, or simply don't have a play style desirable to most.

So how about we just look at the strengths and weaknesses of a champ in then what the team comps were present. There may be a way to defeat them that requires picking different champs, builds, team comps, or play styles. Then it'll be easier to point out OP champs and fix them without Olaf'ing them.

Awoof2 votes

{quoted} y'all just can't make up your minds!

Go figure there are more than five people having opinions.

I can't remember anyone asked for Nid to wreck the jungle. First of all people wanted diversity among existing junglers.

wahhh sej is op we don't want tank junglers being good!

Sejuani, who already did more than fine, doesn't equal the tank role as such. Maybe I missed all the qq (it's been one week for phreak's sake), but I don't think that's been the actual "feedback" to it.

Also give the circlejerkers a few days to realize the Sejuani nerfs are barely nerfs. An average slow instead of a max slow for not hitting the big aoe ranged stun. Boo hoo.

And really, this has been the one patch where they had progress in the right direction, you can't really look back at this season's jungle and say "It's your fault for giving slightly mixed feedback that they did what they want for the majority of time."

IndianHippie1 votes

The fact that champions from season 2 are still receiving balance changes should be enough to make you realize that the developers suck at balance. Honestly, the makers of this game are treating the players like fucking babies listening to their every whim And now with the important LCS gets it is getting even more ridiculous.

A way to distinguish if a thread on GD is serious or not: just search if OP's justification uses the buzzwords nerf Lee Sin, Zed or win rate comparisons.

the problem is that this community complains about jungle diversity when that is not a problem. we see Vi's and J4's and hear people complain about them but it is just as fucking easy to carry with Maokai, Malphite, Amumu, Sejuani! Hell, Khazix can carry if he snowballs off one early gank. people are just too blind to realize this, and too lazy to learn how to carry with tank junglers (who, by the way, make it mad easy to win teamfights because you dont need any laners building resistances. for instance maokai: gets tanky and then you can 2v2 with any laner after hitting lvl 6)

Jamnon1 votes

They dont nerf based upon complaints.

DarthSpectrum1 votes

These examples are exaggerated.

Nidalee got a nerf to her traps because % health clears camps to quickly. In case you have not yet noticed, most champions with % health damage such as Gragas has a cap on it against monsters.

That is not to mention that Nidalee spears are prone to turn invisible half way through.

As well, the nerfs to Sejuani would only affect those who are new to her and can't reliably land all her skills. The damage shift might actually be a buff to her early game. Her ult in its current form pretty much guarantees an ACE if she lands it on more than 2 people.

Both Nidalee and Sejuani enjoy high win rates, while Lee Sin sits at around 46%. I know that it isn't all that matters; however, from a statistical standpoint, Sejuani and Nidalee are much better than Lee Sin and are allowing NEW players to win despite having less skill and practice.

On a side note, Vi's early game ult damage was recently nerfed.
