Is it legal to pay someone for lessons or will that get me banned?

Looking to learn some tips and tricks from someone much, much better, willing to pay for their time if that's ok. Mainly laning tactics, where to ward, how to remember to keep looking at map, cs better, better decisions, etc.

Edit : Merry Christmas!

That's fine but I'm sure you could find that information without paying someone for it.

No, it's not illegal or forbidden as long as they're not actually playing on your account to boost you or something

Hiring coaches is perfectly fine. Riot doesn't have anything against players wanting to improve themselves. Just be careful who you pay since its an individualized thing and could be a scam. Also for the price you pay you gotta make sure they know what they're talking about and that you'll learn more from them than just watching a livestream and listening to commentary.

Elo boosting on the other hand is very illegal by riot standards (having somebody play on your account, purchasing another account, etc)

Would be no one on my account, just someone maybe spectating me while I stream a game and telling me what I need to improve on and giving me tips
