Now I know Gold isn't good, but I was pretty proud of making it there ... I come back now and I am absolutely horrid some games. I just got DESTROYED bot lane against Leona + Veigar (when did these comps come into play? I've see ap mages bot a lot and yasuo) either way I could not do anything, they had so much CC and I obviously played it badly to lose that bad, but wow man, I leave for like 2 years and come back and I'm absolute shite at the game :(

No idea where to start looking at what I'm doing wrong ... halp

Your first mistake was coming back. The game's bad. It was probably bad when you left, but it's gotten worse.

Leona veigar is certainly a very difficult lane to deal with if your support had gone morganna the game would have been alot easier. ( sorry if they banned it)

Your cs score was super good though for being behind !

Probably would have gotten merc boots to help deal with cc

yea this is kinda like what people see if they stop playing for a couple weeks in a highly contested elo, but this is on a grander scale, people got better with practice and since you have not played you have had less practice as well as not accustomed to what has changed(I think), I would say just keep on practicing in normals, play some arams to get the feel of the game again. That is without knowing anything else about how you play though.
