This is why I stopped playing ARAM after more than 2k games

Today I wanted to play some ARAM because I felt like it.

First game attempt. The opposing teams are balanced. It looks like it's going to be a fair game. We get the first tower, but then one of my teammates disconnects for a while and when he comes back he's still lagging and walks into the enemy team, dying again. We lose 2 towers and the inhibitor and are ultimately unable to recover from that.

Second game attempt: failed. I had to wait a couple of minutes to find a game. We had a good team comp, but someone in the enemy team left the game.

Third game attempt: same as game attempt #2

I had game where we destroyed enemies early, I had Katarina and got averagely fed so it was nearly easy game took three of their towers and inhib and still they could return and won the game. because 20/15/26 Katarina can't obviously beat 22/15/21 Irelia who both deals damage and is tanky as hell, lol. Take into their team 18/15/20 Swain and it escalated pretty quickly.

So you can recover from bad game as long as you have something that can stack up lots of HP, build at least two defensive items effectively while maintaining enough damage and have good healing.

I also had one game as Xin Zhao where I neded to build tanky. It looked fair at first, then I felt merely no damage from all three their carries while effectively destroying one of them as they were squishies. My other 4 teamamtes torn apart their frontline tanks and so we won. Unfairly. Yet again, it was tankiness combined with burst damage that won.ň

Nowadays, nearly everyone in ARAM builds most of build tanky If they want to last more than 2 seconds. Even usual carries. And all of them maintain decent damage.
