Tips for CSing and wave control

So I just have a few questions about CS and wave control in general for mid lane. My CS is fine early game because I don't have a problem with last hitting but when I start to roam I lose out on a ton of CS. So I guess what I'm asking is how do I lose the least amount of CS when trying to impact the map or when I'm backing? Also, in my elo a lot of the time games just end up turning into an Aram match and I lose a lot of CS bc my entire team is mid, so how do I prevent that?

Any tips are very much appreciated. Thanks for your time and I wish only good luck in your matches! (:

Boy, i was lying on my bed and as soon as i saw this topic i stood up to reply, i really appreciate a player opening his eyes for once and realizing which steps are to be done in order to climb, i could write you here but if i link you some videos i'll save myself a lot of work, feel free to ask me whatever comes to your mind still, about any league topic or any role, i'll be glad to answer you.

TL;DR/W

-Push a wave all the way under turret before recalling or leaving the lane.

-Once a wave has gone past the river it will push back to you, because the enemy wave is closer to the enemy base, so the "reinforcement wave" will reach the own allied wave faster than yours, this applies the other way around as well.

-When you're going back to lane and you're wondering if to use tp or not, if there isn't any reason use it if the wave is past the river towards your turret, as it will most likely kill your wave and make you lose at least 6 cs, if your wave is past the river towards the opponent's turret, you may still lose a few cs 3-4 depending on how the wave is, but you'll lose much less than the previous situation.

-Manipulating the waves you can create an advantage of +6 -12 or +12 -6 in your favor (the - minions are the ones you make your opponent miss if you manage the wave accurately), once you know this you create a huge advantage for you basically doing nothing, FATAL HORRIBLE SHAMEFUL error low elo players make is to ignore wave management so they get punished and they don't even notice it happening, simply by doing nothing.

-If your whole team is mid and you're not fighting or contesting any objective (you must ALWAYS being contesting something, may it be cs, lv2, a turret, a dragon, a buff, a kill, pressure, anything, otherwise you're what i call "walking afk" aka wasting your time and giving the enemy free time to do whatever they want) you should be splitpushing, knowing how the waves behave you can go splitpushing and then reconsidering what to do according to what your team is doing/you want to do.

-At lv7, either by build or built in champion kit, you unlock the "waveclear" (you oneshot a wave), by that time you MUST always push, otherwise "(you and) your team gets fucked".

The first thing you need to do is mention who you are playing, you will need a different strategy for different champions.

I know this is a long video, but it really helped me learn and understand it completely. Watching this video actually doubled my CS ability. As a Support Main, it also taught me how to freeze, when to freeze, how to push, when to push, ect.

It's quite good.

Whenever I mid and my team undoubtedly comes to mid for their aram scrim i try to roam into jungle and snag any CS possible, even if it takes a while to do a camp like raptors or krugs depending on your champ some gold and experience is better than none. I'll also roam top or bot lane to clear out juicy waves, just remember to ping your team back from fighting while your clearing the waves. They will probably still dive 4v5 but t least they can't blame you 😬
