So, What is Patch 9.10 Going to Look Like?

There seems to be no context on it like we have been usually getting lately, and the patch cycle seems to be over according to surrender@20.

(Malphite and Teemo changes not in 9.10)

All I see is:

  • Some tuning regarding Rageblade, Conqueror, Vayne and Riven (and maybe Master Yi changes)
  • A couple random buffs to champions that don't need it that much
  • A couple (two lol) item buffs
  • (New champion)

So, that's what the patch is going to look like. Just this?! Is that really all they had time to work on?

Hopefully Vladimir nerfs

Twelve champions receiving some manner of change (including a few substantial ones) isn't that light.

9.9 was one of the biggest patches of this season and Riot tends to alternate between big and small patches so it's not surprising

I think the biggest change is that Vayne (and to a lesser degree, Kai'sa) should drop a little bit due to the Rageblade nerfs and hopefully other ADCs can thrive with Vayne not being so nuts. The conqueror nerf might make a big impact on top lane as well, although I don't know that the gap between conqueror top lanes and non-conqueror top lanes is small enough that non-conqueror characters will suddenly swing back and take over. Other than that, Brand will be a bit more annoying but oh well and there's some other small changes.

Yuumi is obviously the biggest shakeup and it will be an exciting time to have invulnerable Twitches roaming around in stealth with access to an 80% slow, a burst of speed, a giant AOE root, and a permashield in addition to the usual Twitch scaling. My friend and I are going to try so many cheesy combos with the new champ, it'll be a good old time all around.

Riven shield being on a longer cooldown is bigger than people think. She's not going to be as mobile as before. The E is part of a lot of combos, It's also going to significantly reduce her safety and sustain in lane. (Shielding is a form of sustain). The higher shield cooldown also means she cant completely ignore Death's Dance damage as much.

Vayne is a hit to her early game more than anything. Tumble is maxed second on Vayne so remains at like rank 1 or 2 until level 13.

item 3124 is going to hurt Kai'Sa and Varus more than it will hurt Vayne...

If my math is correct even with Rageblade's Phantom Hit effect active, Vayne's Silver Bolts will require 5 auto attacks to proc twice instead of 4.

If I have to take a guess at the winrate drops these champions will receive -

Riven will probably go down by 1 - 1.5%

Vayne I'm expecting a 1.5 - 2% drop.

I'm also hoping the people who are playing these champs just because their "OP" will fuck off back to their actual mains.
