People say that Katarina is a braindead champ because she has no "skill shots" in her kit. This does not mean she is easy. She has to click buttons extremely fast to fight making her a ridiculously skillful champion. More champions: akali, ryze, zyra, leblanc (mainly AP).

Yasuo doesn't need to spam buttons, he two shots everyone. He isn't hard.
DoktorKaiser1 votesI am not saying that he 1 shots you, that isnt true, but he has retarded dps and unfair mobility but ofc he is restricted with oh yeah mb, he also has no resources. And yeah he will block some of the strongest and highest impact abilites in the game because of reasons. Overloaded champs can never be called hard to play, he may be mechanicaly intense but when you can play 5 times worse than your opponent and still win the fight then the champ cant be hard.

RcGjWO640w2 votesHonestly, from someone who plays a ton of Katarina mid, she's a pretty safe pick against just about any mid laner in the game because she's braindead to play and does so much damage. I'm sorry, but I've played well enough Katarina to know that she's basically freelo in Bronze and Silver and if you lose with her, it's because you got cocky, lazy or both. That or you're laning against Heimerdinger because Heimer dumpsters almost everyone now, especially since tank Heimer with Zz'rot and Banner is so popular.
She's a pretty simple faceroll champion with her resets. The only thing you have to learn about her is the order in which to hit her abilities on the engage. Past that, it really doesn't matter aside from remembering to hit your ignite before they flash away.

The Yetii Rider1 votesChampions without skill shots are mostly about muscle memory. Or, in the case of non assassins without skill shots (there are very few left, Nunu is one) the skill required is in strategy over mechanics
Neither of these is comparable to the mechanical skill of being able to miss your abilities. That involves predicting your opponent's movements, anticipating Flashes and dodges, baiting and fishing, and zoning your opponent away from an area.
Skill shot champs are just harder to play and easier to mess up with.
