Premades are both the best thing ever and the worst thing ever.
Why are they the best? You get to play league with your friends and you get to hang out with your pals and enjoy a good ole fun game of league of legends. You get to try out whatever the heck you want without anyone flaming you or raging at you. You get to just kick back and have fun.
Why are they the worst? When you're NOT in a premade. If you're not in a pre-made sadly, you obviously are going to be the monkey in the middle, the loser, the "random" that no one cares about.
If the team is losing, chances are, they'll blame the random. Regardless of the reason. They don't care what the reason is. If you were camped, legitimately the entire game by the support, the jungler, and the top laner, and suddenly they shove all their firepower midlane, taking two turrets while the entire team sits back and watches, it's clearly the mid laners fault for losing.
They'll ignore that you only have 2 deaths less (5) then the ADC (7) and will ignore the full damage jungle amumu who has double the mid laner's deaths with less kills. They'll ignore that you're killed killing people left and right. Because you're still not useless and you're able to make plays when you can.
The premade team will often ignore that you're not the weakest member of the team and will flat out say that the team is losing because of you. And only you. Meaning that if you played better, the team would have won.
This is something that really sucks when you're the man who's just left out. You feel like that one kid in class who's always picked on by that one group of kids who are all in this circle of friends, but since you're not in that circle, you're the one that gets picked on... a lot.
This does sound like a rant... and it is a bit of one. It's just infuriating that people will often just point out every single mistake you make, then will all collaborate on it making you feel even worse.
Maybe that one person could have done better. Maybe that one person could have possibly played a little better. But when 4 people are all ganging up on them, there's nothing they can do. If they leave the game, they get 4 definite reports, plus maybe an extra 5. If they fight back and flame them back (which you're not supposed to do), they'll report you anyway. And if you put them all on mute, then well, you just cut yourself from your whole team.
Worst case scenario, they'll STILL report you after the game, because....they lost and it's your fault.
Not to say that every single pre-made is made of a team of toxic people, but with how things are, you run into more unfavorable teams than you would favorable.
It's even worse if you see that there's absolutely no way to win the game and because you're so far on tilt because of how you played and the fact that your teammates are kicking you while you're down, if you call a surrender, often times they'll just play to absolutely force you to keep playing. Making you feel even worse and worse and worse as the game drags on.
Seriously guys. If you're in a pre-made, give that 5th guy some credit. Don't gang up on them. If your friend is going 0/5 and that 5th man is going 9/5, yes they both died the same amount of times, but one is clearly doing more work than the other. If the 0/5 player is flaming the 9/5, don't join him and try to make that other player feel bad.
Even if you're losing so freaking hard that you see absolutely zero chances at winning, please, please, if you're in a skype or curse or Discord, just flame the 5th person in voice chat where they can't hear you or see you and keep your typing at a fairly friendly tone. Trust me, you'll benefit more that way.
So am I wrong? Am I just absolutely talking out of my butt and have no idea what I'm talking about? Do you agree and think that some pre-mades are just super toxic? Tell me whatcha think.
