I was just looking at the big change to Hurricane: it's got crit now and the side bolts can crit. The fact that it gives AS and move speed is a boon to Ashe on top of the crit chance. So for Ashe, it looks like she's getting AoE perma slow from now on. In theory.
How does it work in practice though?

with a 90% ad ratio people will probably not go crit on her as a core build. I still expect the mentioned above build to be core. BORK is the best first item because it disregards her 90% ad handicap. runaans will alwyas be core. Lw/BT are also core for lifesteal for maximum kiting and to take advantage of runaans. the only thing I feel that will change is a ballsy confident kalista who is well ahead might get an Infinity Edge instead of a defensive item and/or get it where she would get BT if really far ahead. the other 4 items will still be bought in her full build though no doubt. and you cant swap out zerkers for anything as her jump scales with boot tier. So still only room for 1 different item in that build. it just gave her a bit of crit so she will crit about 1/3 of the time now which is not to be understated even without infinity edge.
ProfDrDeath1 votesWell, part of why she did not scale well with Crit was because of her synergy with , and the fact that this item took up the space of the multiplier item.
Now, Runaan's scales with Crit, making the whole stat somewhat better on her. However, Crit is still somewhat less optimal on her, due to her reduced AD scaling on auto-attacks.
Linna Excel1 votesI agree with this. The nerf to bork isn't item breaking even if a few champs will feel it. I think that kalista is still going to avoid building crit because she uses hurricane to spread her E around. For her E she needs AD and AS (more spears on more targets).
The only exception I see is if hurricane into a ER is a good build on her. I don't think it will because with her kiting ability, the HP sustain of BT makes it a better 3rd item.

Sightless661 votesYeah, it works fine. You give up some burst or survivability from Shiv or PD, so you probably won't do it every game, but there are definitely situations where it's the right option.

Sightless661 votesPD if there's one strong diver or assassin I'll have to deal with. Hurricane won't help me at all against a single diver, and usually if I can just survive and kill the diver we'll be in a good position for the rest of the fight.
Shiv can be better if they have a team of skirmishing and split-pushing squishies. The burst can help take a squishy out quickly, and that can be better than hurricane if no enemies are around. It also lets you push very, very quickly with one - three autos and a Q.
